Well-sized twin room. Big bathroom and quiet aircon. Although we only stayed for one night, the friendly crew were happy to meet our request for a quiet room. Do not forget to catch a Walsall FC game at the stadium next door if possible. Will definitely stay here again when needing a place to sleep near Birmingham Breakfast was good, but it would have been nice to have fried eggs rather than just scrambled eggs.

Location Bathroom unclean, urine on toilet seat. Only one lady on reception offered to clean it whereas the two men there were unhelpful

Really friendly responsive staff. Breakfast was good. Very good value. Good transport links nearby. Quiet rooms. Comfy bed. Aircon was really effective. We had a few very minor issues (eg no hairdryer in our room/no shower gel/paid for breakfast but they didn’t update our booking) however staff were really helpful and sorted the issues right away. The surrounding area is so-so. Train station nearby, a few nice places in Walsall but there is very little on the actual “doorstep” of the hotel. We knew that though and it was perfect for our purpose (attending the athletics).
