Oki Doki OLD TOWN

This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. They actually care about their guests. I asked to switch to a girl's dorm because someone came into the dorm super loud at 3 am and woke everyone up. Most hostels would just hand you some earplugs and do nothing. These guys went out of their way to find me another room to stay in. They don't tolerate misbehavior from bad guests. I had a great experience. The location is also fantastic and it was quite sociable. Very easy to meet people. nothing

Perfect location, few steps away from the old town. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Facilities are good. The only thing that might be a bit uncomfortable is that there is no air conditioning in the dorms, which might be an issue during the summer.

This was my first hostel experience in Europe, and I have to say it was just as good as the hostels I’ve stayed at in other countries. A big kudos to the staff for being so helpful and welcoming, but especially to Kate. Everyone was great, don’t get me wrong, but her kindness and exceptional service truly went above and beyond and made my stay even better. Honestly, I’m giving the property a 10/10 because I had a great stay overall. The only small thing I noticed was the limited storage space for food, at least in my case. A bigger fridge and perhaps an extra cabinet or shelf for dry food storage would make things even more convenient. Other than that, everything was excellent.

There was one shower for 10 beds which wasn’t a problem while I was there but it could be.

The location was the best. I didn’t explore enough the common areas of the hostel, so I can’t tell about all the services the hostel offers. About the private room, it was very small, old looking, very tiny bathroom. It doesn’t worth the money. The private room doesn’t worth the money. Very tiny space and it doesn’t look nice. I was not satisfied to pay the money I did, for that tiny room.

There is no elevator. Be mindful if you have more then 1 backpack

Super oriented toward tourists. So helpful to store my suitcase after I checked out, and the staff was so helpful to print my flight boarding pass.

While it was much more expensive than the other hostels I booked in Poland, it did offer less value (e.g. no towels, shampoo or breakfast included). Other people left the toilet in a state I would be ashamed to leave it. One even puked in the sink without cleaning it afterwards.

The place is very clean, the stuff are so nice, beds are comfy, heaters are better than expected, the neighborhood during Christmas was interesting and has many activities and fascinating Christmas market. The big locker inside the room was a life-saver. The system of checking-in, staying and checking-out was very organized and never faced any challenges or needed anything during my stay (everything was automated and this is very practical and efficient). It's also near several public transportation options so commuting was very accessible. Not to mention, it was a great value for money. It would be better if the number of beds inside the room was smaller because 8 beds inside a very small room with only one bathroom gets challenging. I was lucky enough that the room wasn't fully occupied during most of my stay except for 1 night where the room was almost fully occupied, it wasn't very comfortable. Although it's located inside the old town, which is a very nice and lively place during Christmas, it's considered far from the main downtown which has most of the entertainment and visits, it usually takes me 30-40 minutes to commute daily to any place (it was ok given a very accessible public transport system, though!)

Right next to the old town. Social vibe. Bathroom was cleaned frequently.
