Great location, it simply cannot be better. It is 2min walking from the main square and in the main street, but my room was towards the backyard and it was not noisy. Comfortable bed, a bit small but enough. Quiet atmosphere in the hostel. You need to bring your own padlock for the locker (known in advance so not an issue). Many of the reviews I read before I booked pointed out the lack of cleanness. Host has answered that input was going to be taken into consideration even in comments more than 1year old. Toilets are still dirty the few times I visit (not even hand sopa provided, not floor towels or paper to dry provided, not cleaning from morning to evening...), so this input is still under consideration. I hope there are finally addressed next time I visit.

Location is perfect. Room for 4 was comfy and perfect for 2 nights. Could have a private bathroom but we came for the SOAD concert for the weekend so barely stayed in the hostel.

Was in the city center close to everything. Bathrooms in mixed rooms are really not hygienic enough.

The location was excellent. There was a bus stop right outside that literally gave you access to all of Warsaw. The bed was very comfortable and clean. There was always hot water in the shower. The bathroom I was assigned and the one in their lounge kitchen area was not cleaned in the 3 days I was there. The smell in them was terrible. The whole staff, in all locations, were truly put out if you addressed them bc they had to put their phones down. I even got an eye roll from one. I prepaid for breakfast and on my last day, with absolutely no warning, they did not serve breakfast and left me scrambling at 7:30am to find breakfast before heading to the airport. I was told I would receive a refund and I’m still waiting.

I like the location

The hostel facilities were excellent. The internet was fast and reliable. The two Turkish staff members were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The common area was large and great for meeting other travelers. The kitchen was well equipped and had enough utensils. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The lockers under the beds were large and very practical. The toilets were not clean enough and there were not enough of them. The shower rooms lacked a shelf or small table for personal belongings while showering. However, since the showers and toilets were separate, I usually did not have to wait long to use them.

Each bed had its own power socket and light, which is great. Except mine was broken/missing, and staff did not replace it in the entire 3 nights I was there (gave me the old 'we'll get the guy to have a look' response), meaning I had to charge my phone in the common room. But that was my only complaint.

I'm not generally one to complain about cleanliness but it could have been better, the toilets had a bad smell for most of the stay and the shower could have been a little cleaner. Nothing too off-putting though but it's an area to improve

Lower floor rooms hear too much from the street, and I was unable to fall asleep until well after midnight once nearby businesses closed.

location. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the old town, plus the bus stop to the airport is right in front. some hostels accommodate more mature guests; this one felt very young. I was in a 6 woman dorm, but a couple (both female) was sharing a bed, whispering among themselves until late in the night. At 1:30 AM, a girl was yelling into her phone in the hall, sitting right outside our door, that ‘Nick wants to have (intercourse) with me in the shower without a rubber’. The floor was sticky because of a spill, not sure how often this place gets cleaned.

Excellent location in Warsaw, right in the central pedestrian zone. Polite staff and good breakfast.

Dirty toilet and showers

The hostel was great, nice staff, great options at the cafe, lovely little breakfast and amazing location. It has a cool hostel vibe, that has seen plenty of travelers and is cosy, not too sterile. You can actually meet cool people there. The beds were comfy and very well ventilated and aired, I had no trouble sleeping in the small dorm. The showers and toilets could be a bit cleaner, the drains more often checked to make sure water goes down the hole. I wish a lock for your stuff was offered at the reception and maybe a handle to climb up the higher bed would make things easier too.

Safestay has become my go to place when I'm in Warsaw. It fulfills all my requirements and am always satisfied. Everything is close, the staff is great, and the rooms are clean and quiet. The staff is always helpful, really appreciate how friendly they are. n/a
