Eurostars Saint Gregory Dupont Circle Georgetown

This property needs to be updated. The air con was running like a turbo engine with a lot of noise. The thermostat of the AC was antiquated and should sit in an antique store!! The shower was not shutting off and was leaking all the time. the quality of the pull on couch was very poor. The hotel staff was good, however, could use people who could understand and speak better English. Could not understand them completely

The staff was so wonderful and helpful i would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone the only thing is you have to pay for breakfast and do not forget to tell them about the voucher for valet other the that five stars across the bored

New owners changed the interior. I liked the old French design an open lobby. Also, the bistro was also closed for breakfast and lunch; one had to go to the main restaurant just for a coffee.

I had a family emergency and asked the front desk if I could have a refund even though I was there for about 2 hours. They said they would definitely look into it. I’ve tried contacting them repeatedly but have not received any response.

- A/C in the humid gym room is a recipe for heat stroke - Gym had bugs on the towels. - Scheduled rooms are never ready - Dirty/Blood stained bed sheets not being replaced Prior to the EUROSTARS buy out I never had any issues like this, under them it's consistently been a disaster.

Rooms are spacious, very clean, comfy large beds, nice robes and bath. Location is great with some nice restaurants close-by. Breakfast wasn’t great, recommend going to the Tatta cafe - a 2 mins walk away - great choice and lovely coffee

Location and balcony Our room had a terrible odor upon check in. The sheets and clock were dirty. The walls were dented in several spots. Like the wallpapered over holes. The rooms and bathrooms need more light. It’s was so dark. The key card system in the elevator barely worked.

Was misinformed about breakfast end time so we missed breakfast. The manager agreed to contact Expedia for a refund.

Exceptional

The room was very clean as well as roomy and the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Things I appreciated was that the rooms included bath robes, instead of an iron a steamer was provided, staff was very helpful by providing us with umbrellas the day that it rained. Will definitely recommend this hotel - specifically the location - to anyone traveling in DC.

The room was great! But the staff were not very helpful. I paid for valet parking overnight and my car was not put into the garage until the next morning. I was told I would be given a refund and was never given one.

They used some deodorant in the room, and it made me allergic. The smell was really strong, but opening the windows helped. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful! We bought breakfast, and it was worth it!

Third stay at the property which is smart and well-located. Rooms are large and comfortable, save and quiet. The hotel could probably do with a refresh, the first visit was amazing with a wonderful breakfast, this was a couple of years ago so on the last visit it felt as if it could do with a refresh.

I highly recommend. This is a nice hotel, with a affordable luxury vibe. Room lighting, furniture, and layout were great. Very clean. Staff were very helpful and efficient. Fitness room was a little bigger and better equipped than most at this price point. My only minor complaint is that the TV Google Chromecast wouldn't work (I use Chromecast regularly...I think the TV may have been on a different network than the guest wifi). All said, I will likely stay here again for my periodic business travel to this part of DC.

Courteous staff, Cleanliness, cold fresh lemon water in lobby all day, small offside living room with TV. Overly expensive onsite parking.

There is a mandatory $30 charge for drinking their free water everyday. A lot of hotels call it an “amenity fee” on top of all the other fees they add to it. If you want to be nickels and dimed this is the hotel.
