Holiday Inn Washington Capitol - Natl Mall by IHG

Other than no free breakfast option,just a very expensive buffet ! over $100. for 3 adults and 2 kids , very happy with our stay.Would stay here again and even have breakfast here "no other options near by" . Great location and very happy to see the National Guard in and around the hotel, felt very safe.

Very clean and great location for DC monuments and access to attractions. Will definitely stay here again. Front desk and bell hop all very helpful.

Great location just a block off of the mall and very close to train. The front desk were sticklers about the check-in time. The pool was a great spot to cool down. The gym was under construction, but still provided what we needed.

I feel that guests should be notified in advance when there are large events, road closures, or limited parking expected during their stay. As a family, we specifically chose this hotel hoping for a calm, comfortable, and relaxing atmosphere, but the overcrowding and traffic made that difficult to enjoy. The hotel itself was fine, but better communication about events and possible disruptions would have helped us make a more informed decision before booking.

The location of Hotel is very close to the National Mall and all museums, capitol and memorial. Nice rooms and well maintained. And the staff are also very nice and helpful.

It was close to the national mall. Other than that there was nothing that was good about this hotel

Rooms did not have a microwave which is hard when traveling with children.

Great location and a very friendly staff. Doors needs to be soundproof because you can hear people walking and talking outside your room all hours of the night . The breakfast buffet was horrible and was not worth $26 dollars they charged.

Previously my stay was great. Disappointed this time around.

Staff was kind enough, but no one was going out of their way to help us with anything. Pool was closed due to Canadian fires which was a real bummer. Room was clean. Parking at 2 am with a child and elderly mother meant leaving them for the garage. One staff member was very kind while the others were generally unhappy and annoyed by questions or requests for assistance.

Good location Very old .. run down. Awful stained carpet in the hallways. Uncomfortable bed. Poor airflow from the AC.
