Convenient location. Shower is very unique. Friendly staff.

Disappointing

Pool capacity allowance, specifically on Wednesday movie night. Eventhough outside guest are permitted with a fee. There should be a a reservation list for a head count. We couldn't enjoy that part of our stay due to the amount of people there. Possibly 70/30 with the hotel guest.

overall great experience! clean & artsy hotel. The towels were so soft. Next time i will go for a room that has a tub as well and go to the rooftop with the pool. Shower was amazing there was just one area where the water pooled but overall i enjoyed my stay! Staff, valet, bartenders & rates were great!

I was planning a surprise for my boyfriend and everything turned out perfectly. The concierge (the gentlemen with the Jamaican accent) was so helpful and went the extra mile to ensure everything was a success. I had a really good stay!

Nice hotel. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast options were great and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was really comfy. Unfortunately, I didn’t make use of the rooftop pool/bar.

Loved this hotel! The shower is a little touchy - thought there was no hot water and they came up promptly to fix it and they showed me that the hot and cold arrows are wrong on the dial - even with that the knob was sensitive and had to make sure it was in the exact position. I also asked for a less firm pillow and they brought that right up. So attentive to my needs and the art in the hotel is so cool- feminist vibe .. well yeah. It’s called Hotel Zena. :). The front desk is glass and has high heeled shoes in it. So so unique and total artsy vibe. Love that. Clean. Friendly staff and room was very nice. Location is great as well.

My stay at Hotel Zena in Washington, D.C. was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel is ideally situated in a highly urban, attractive, and vibrant central-city location, just 0.6 miles from the White House, making it exceptionally convenient for exploring many of Washington’s most popular attractions. My room was clean, modern, stylish, and very comfortable, with a contemporary design that created an upscale yet relaxing atmosphere. The hotel also offers excellent amenities, including a swimming pool and convenient parking, both of which added to the overall quality of my stay. The internet service was fast and dependable, which was especially appreciated, and the consistent daily room service kept the accommodations fresh, clean, and welcoming throughout my visit. Another major advantage is the convenience of the surrounding neighborhood—Wawa, CVS, and numerous restaurants are all close by, making it easy to grab food, beverages, or everyday necessities without traveling far. Between the excellent location, impressive room, modern amenities, reliable service, and easy access to nearby businesses and dining, Hotel Zena provided a comfortable and memorable Washington, D.C. experience. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a modern, conveniently located hotel in the heart of the nation’s capital.

The front desk staff were very helpful and kind. It was a great location for going to the convention center, eating nearby, and sight seeing. The rooftop pool was great, though staff were not as warm as the front desk. Also loved the waterfall shower and the design. Hotel is women owned and was such a comfortable vibe. The pool has limited seating with some people taking up both the cabanas and chairs leaving seating even further limited. There is no one monitoring the pool area so if someone leaves but leaves their towels the seats look taken but aren’t (also further limiting seating). We waited 20 minutes for towels as there weren’t any, after checking with the pool staff twice I called the front desk and new ones were brought up shortly after. The pillows in the room were really big/uncomfortable. I didn’t ask for different ones though so I don’t know if there were other options.
