Several issues . Refrigerator in room didn't work , t.v. didn't work on several channels , light controls didn't work, very limited eating choices, keys were coded wrong, bill had a 2,000.00 errror,etc.

Such a beautiful location and hotel in general. The staff were super friendly. We were staying for five nights so they learned our faces and recognized us as we came and went. The location was a 5 minute walk from The Wharf so we were able to have a great dining experience every night.

I found the hotel to exceptionally clean, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Our suite had an excellent view of the Potomac River, we able to watch fireworks. The pool area was also very clean. I wanted to go to the restaurant, Dogon, but didn't know it's closed on Sundays and Mondays-- I must return in the near future.

I tried desperately to cancel the reservation due to activity date change but couldn’t reach hotel reservations. I left a message but never received a return call. Paid near $900 for a none stay!!!

Beautiful hotel conveniently located a 10 minute walk away from the Wharf's restaurants and shops. The staff is professional, kind, and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel for families and business travelers.

This hotel has ruined me for any other hotels. If they're not up to the standards set at The Potomac Hotel, then I don't want to stay there. It was a beautiful space, staff were friendly and helpful, the room spotless and spacious. I didn't have a view, but I didn't pay for one. And it's close to The Wharf - within walking distance. 10/10 stay!

Beautiful room, amenities, and very nice staff members. We had requested a room with two beds (mom and daughter traveling together), but they gave us a two-room suite with a sofa bed, because no rooms with two beds were available when we arrived. This was not ideal, but they did the best they could under the circumstances.

We had a wonderful stay at the Salamander DC. The location is great, within walking distance to many of the monuments. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Markus the Valet/Doorman was so friendly and kind to our family, enjoyed seeing him as we were coming and going from the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed staying at this hotel and would stay here again, The hotel itself is very clean and the rooms are comfortable.

Great spot, staff super nice and helpful. Traveled with children, first time visiting the DC area. We will come back again. Also they provided us with their Lexus for a 3 hour drive around the area, including complimentary tour to the Smithsonian museums. The best!
