The Beach Rose Inn

The look of the room seemed like it was clean. The first night, while sleeping I was thinking the was on me. I removed the wool type blanket. The next day when I got back to the room I pulled the sheet down and I saw these a few blackish dots. I a picture of them and they turned out to be bed bugs. I went and spoke with the person at the desk (she was nice both days). She came to the room and looked at the issue. She offered to change the sheet. I let her know that I will be checking out. The room was wall to wall carpet. How do we know if there were bed bugs on the floor? She once again offered to change the sheet. I asked if we could do a refund - because changing the sheet is not fixing the issue. I was told that they will not offer a refund. Sadly, I will not go back there. If you stay here - strip the bed down and look for any little dots ( they are very small). Just shocked they would not offer even half of a refund.

Cute place...kinda off balance on the floors...I felt like I was going down hill all the time...but it was clean and comfy bed...we were there about 10.30pm to 4.30 am...so it served its purpose for a bed and shower....

Property is dated. Main door access is key only even during office hours

Located directly on main road. Must access main house to get into room which I found quite odd. Had to wait outside at 3 for a while for someone to open door to check in. Room was fine but couldn't figure out tv with multiple remotes and log in required.

I booked a room through hotels.com and the room I booked the air conditioner was not working in. It was a room with 2 double beds so they gave me a room with a queen size bed with a working air conditioner. The room was much smaller but it worked for 1 night. The staff was wonderful

Room was clean. Carpet old and stained. Lots of water stains on ceiling.

Well…there was a bed. I’ll give them that. Hard pressed to sing any more praise than that. I won’t go into a laundry list of what was disappointing - it’s not worth my time. In short - if you need a place to sleep at a lower price point - than this is serviceable. Beyond that, my rankings and ratings ring more true than any comments or words could

Good spot to stay. Walking distance within wells beach. Grocery store right behind the property, cvs, subway, and McDonalds all across the street. Good location.

Nous sommes arrivés en soirée. Il n'y avait plus personne à la réception. Nous devions appeler à un numéro mais la qualité de l'appel était médiocre. Nous avions réservé pour 4 personnes mais seulement 2 serviettes à notre disposition. Le délai de réponses aux messages envoyés via expédia est long.

Room could have been a little cleaner. Bed was comfortable. Staff was nice and friendly. Easy check in and check out.

This was by far the most disgusting place I've ever seen. It smelled so bad that we had to leave. Girl at front desk was hiding in a room and wouldn't come out to speak to me when I was bringing back keys right after we checked in. The rugs looked like someone was murdered in there and the room wasn't cleaned since the 60's. Just beyond horrific

The room was decently maintained and the staff were helpful. The only real nitpick is that parking could be tricky.
