A unique thing I did not like about our stay at the Garrison was the 10:00 am check out time. Even upon request, nope get out by 10:00am. Most motels and hotel use 11:00, and many are now moving to noon. Since there is no food at the motel, one basically has to pack-up and get out before 10:00 and then try to find a breakfast spot. Requiring guests to leve bfore 10:00 is simply economics-they don't want to have to hire more roomcleaners so they can turn the rooms more quickly as most motels and hotels do. There were a few other thiings like a clogged showerhead resulting in very poor shower water pressure, and worn-out linese, but I would not stay there again based on the earlier than almost everyone else check out time.

It was just a cozy and comfortable place. Really well located near coffee, doughnuts, and restaurants(+a summer time food truck park). Rooms were clean and offered a ton of space. Fridge was immaculate. Pillows were thinnnnnn! And the room was a bit dark. Neither of which are deal breakers.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. There was a really cool food truck place across the street with live music - fun vibes.

A nice little place for a quick overnight stay. We didn’t get to use the pool but it looked nice. The room was spacious and the kitchenette was a bonus. A solid, if not luxury, place. I would stay again.
