The staff is always friendly and accomodating

The hotel is clean, but dated. The rooms was large and comfortable. It was very clean and overall we are very happy with our stay for the price and we would come back again. The kids loved the hot chocolate station at the front desk when we got back to our room very late. We were in town for an event so we didnt get to use the pool but it looked clean and well maintained and other guests were using it.

The room was fine, but the bed was not the most comfortable. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was just ok. The outdoor pool and hot tub did not appear to be very well maintained. The floor of them looked like they had algae buildup and a bunch of tree needles were floating in the water.

Lots of parking available. This hotel is big, but not well maintained. It has a certain type of stench. Rooms are big too, but again stains on the carpets, ripped carpets and broken furniture. Pigeons all over the property and specially pooping in the balcony. Swimming pool and hot tub was nice, but we did not use it due to our tight schedule. Breakfast was nice, but in one of the incident they just filled some water in the waffle batter when someone requested to get the new one since it was not dispensing anymore. If they renovate this property to it's former glory, I am sure it is worth staying.

They need to update

Disappointed the lounge was closed. The staff was great.
-
They have no USB ports. All Carpet seams being held down with duct tape. Delaminating backing on the carpet and it’s like waves and ocean for trip hazards. And a complete maze to get to your room!!!!

Room was clean and well kept, pool was great, but hotel is showing it's age

Rooms were very nice. Breakfast was average. Stay was OK until we checked out. They said they would email us a receipt but it never came. Since I booked through Hotels.com, I checked with them first. They sent me a message from the hotel who said they did not have an accurate email for me and that I needed to call the hotel. I did that today and got a runaround saying I needed to go back to hotels.com or expedia. Turns out my booking had an expedia email address. But it took me forever to finally get the person at the hotel to just email it to my own email address. She could have just checked that first since I told her it was an email address issue.

The hotel is located a short distance from train tracks. The trains are quite audible when the pass. Most hotels in the same area have the same issue.

A/c was loud

Worst hotel we have ever stayed. The girl at reception during evening hours is very rude. The rooms are extremely dirty and not well maintained at all. Wouldn't consider staying here again

Although the room was fairly clean, the bed was broke on one side, which you could hear every time you rolled over. The hot/cold shower faucet was on backwards, so it took a minute to figure out which was hot and which was cold. The basement (first floor) smelled of urine when we went in the back entrance to go up the stairs to the main floor (2nd floor). The parking in the back was really run down with garbage and weeds…similar to what a back alley would look like. The staff were friendly but when I asked for washcloths, front desk wouldn’t give them to me. I asked her how long it would take for housekeeping to bring them to us because we were leaving soon and didn’t want people in our room (we had the “do not disturb” on our handle)…she just said they’d bring us more washcloths. When we returned, we saw that housekeeping had come in anyway. This is beyond irritating to me…we had the sign up for a reason, you could just stock extra stuff at reception or housekeeping could make it a priority to bring the items. I worked at hotel in my younger years as well as my kids and they had “runners” that took care of these type of things. The seating in the dining area needs to be replaced as there are some that are duct taped together. There are tripping hazards in the halls because the carpet needs to be stretched. We have been staying at this hotel for many years and it is sad to see how dilapidated it has become…time to replace broken/toen furniture and clean up outside

Breakfast was good. The A/C unit in room 203 was quite loud, but with the busy road on that side maybe it was a good thing.

The staff the entire time we were there were very unhelpful and very rude. When we checked in, the guy was very unfriendly and not helpful. When we called about house keeping they were rude and dismissive. The pool hours that are posted say it closes at 9pm, there was a huge family that was out they making a lot of noise at 9:30, our room was right next to the pool, so we called the front desk and was told very matter of fact my the pool closes at 10pm even though it states 9pm. They were still down there after 10 making a lot of nosie so we called the front desk again, as we were trying to sleep and the lady was very rude about it

Room was nice, balcony a plus. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Only drawback was the 7 am start time, which was late for the event we were in town for. Many other hotels we've stayed in have 6:30 am breakfast so travelers can get to events or on the road in a more timely manner.

The rooms are big.

Price was reasonable but the property was not well maintained and dated.
