Sonesta Simply Suites Cleveland Westlake

Staff was very nice but the property is definitely run down. The heat was on in the first room they gave us. The room temp was 85 degrees. We were moved to a different room that smelled awful and the carpet was damp. They definitely had a flood at some point and the carpet just never dried completely. We stayed two nights and was barely in the room so we didn’t bother to complain and move rooms.

Enjoyed my stay here but the floors were dirty and not swept.

There was no cookware no silver except for a large plastic spoon they did give me a pot That's it So I made a visit to Walmart and bought the rest of everything we need and a can of bug spray! Also there was no dishes except for two cups. The curtains We're so old and dirty They were shredded I found that to be the same in another Sonesta location also. When we walked into the room To turn on the lamp by the door I was shocked the that the shade and bulb was missing just a open lamp socket staff did address that and they also address the lights in the kitchen. Overall the room was disgusting and so was the exterior grounds. Staff friendly

The staff was so kind, the room was very comfortable and spacious. Me and my family will definitely be coming back!

The area There were so many people standing around outside of our room weed blunts and cigarettes on the stairs from people smoking by the door the pool was empty food and beer caps were still under the couch from the previous quest the bathroom is super small it looks like the ghetto

We generally like the Sonesta Suites and booked this one for two nights especially because of the outdoor pool,...unfortunately the pool was empty and out of action. We paid for two nights plus the room deposit,... the hotel agreed to refund the second night. We have yet to see the second night refund (we only stayed one night) the room deposit has also not been repaid.....would like this sorted please.

The staff was the only good part. The room was filthy, food and dead bugs everywhere. The room smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. Advertised as having a pool and there was no water in it.

The staff was great, the room was clean. The layout of the hotel is kind of like town houses which I liked.

We didn’t even get a room. We had a confirmed booking for a room with two beds and get there to be denied. It took 45 min to get it refunded and get a receipt. Then we had to scramble and go find another place.

Worst hotel in the Cleveland area. There was nothing to like. The staff was kind. The unit was disgusting, the paint was peeling off the walls in chunks, the carpet smelled and had visible dirty and stains, the bathtub was moldy, there were maybe 2 plates and a single cup, no bedding for the dirty sofa sleeper, no hangers, no towels in the room. The room wasn't ready at 7pm when we arrived because they had no cleaners. The man at check in was apologetic. We stayed one night and upon check out the manager said he wouldn't stay there. It was so icky.

We didn't end up staying at the hotel because the room was filthy when we arrived, we were told there were no other rooms available and weren't even offered to have it cleaned. On top of that, 2 separate employees had us double booked and another guest showed up to the room while were still in it! We asked for a refund and left, which we are still waiting for!!

Roach in bathroom. Asked for 1st floor but none available and steps to second floor were soft and not entirely sturdy. Paint chipping. Also, make sure you put on safety lock on door because in the morning the cleaning staff did not knock and walked in while one person was dressing. When confronted they said “well if it is check out timer will walk in”. It wasn’t 11 am yet and we still were only 5 minutes late checking out. Seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen. Should always knock.

Room had cat litter and cat feces throughout, as well as pee stains all over the carpet. The place smells like mold, and the floors feel soggy.
