Bedbugs. I never even checked in because people were walking out because of a bedbugs infestation. I'm trying to get ahold of the property for a refund but I'm not getting a response

I hate writing negative reviews, but unfortunately, this place was very disappointing. The hotel reeked of smoked, there was no signage directing guests where to check in so we walked around the building multiple times trying to find the main office, there was no continental breakfast as promised, we found hairs in the towels and bugs on the floor, and there were no blankets in the room— the only thing covering the bed was a very thin bed sham. In terms of things that went well— the concierge was kind and helpful when I called him as he directed me to a different building in order to check in, and there was ample free parking which I appreciate very much.

There was no trash can in the room, and the place was a bit dirty the shower and there was hair in the room and on the bed. There was also flickering lights outside and it was a shady place.

The staff member at the front desk was friendly, and I was grateful to have the option to arrive at the inn after midnight, but everything else about the experience was subpar. The entry area to check in was dirty and unkempt and I could see dozens of dead bugs in the case of the lights above us. When I got my key card, my husband went to check out the room without me and came back saying we would not be staying overnight. He returned the key to the front desk and we ended up calling a friend instead.

Room was disgusting not cleaned. Had dry urine on the floor with animal hair in it. The sheets had blood stains when asked her new ones they said we don’t have any clean house keeping left for the day. The patio door was broken didn’t close the lock was missing the patio railing was duct taped together. Smoke alarms sitting in the drawers. The air conditioner looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years or the filters. There was poop behind the bed and drug paraphernalia. There was prostitution going on at all hours you can tell by how they were dressed. I felt very unsafe in the room. Place was reported to the state, board of health and fire departments for investigation. This place needs to be closed down asap!

Location and parking Roaches everywhere

We couldn’t use the bathroom or shower, it was in a very bad conditions…

Location close to Newark airport (22 minutes drive) The room had a strong unpleasant odor, possibly from cigarette smoke or something similar, which made it difficult to sleep. The bathroom was not clean, and the shower head was missing. The beds were acceptable but not comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. The balcony door was also difficult to close. There also appeared to be little to no security, as anyone could access the lobby without restriction, which did not feel reassuring. I stayed here only because I had an early morning flight from Newark. I would not recommend this property unless you're looking for an ultra-budget option and are willing to compromise on cleanliness, comfort, and security.
