Just a nice break from the chain hotels. Quiet and relaxing.

Convenient to downtown old colonial area. Hard to find the address on the old colonial homes.

I stayed in a tavern room, which was right on Duke of Gloucester Street, in the middle of historic Williamsburg. It was a very cool experience, staying in this historic property for one night. The room had two doors: one inside the building and one (that doesn't open) on the street side. It was a bit unsettling to have someone trying to open my door from the street late that evening. I had to yell through the door that it was a private room and the door doesn't open. Yikes! Unsettling somewhat, to say the least. Also, a ghost tour stopped outside my window to share about the tavern, which was a little creepy. And the water faucet in the tub turned on by itself. Combine all of those unsettling things with a less than comfy bed, and it was a rough night of sleep! But still so glad I did it! I was on a girls road trip with friends and we each had our own rooms. At breakfast we agreed that it was worth the experience, but one night was plenty!

Our stay was in a colonial tavern room. Great location right off of Duke of Gloucester street. The building was original and we had steep stairs to climb to access our room. Very quaint, but unbearably hot during our visit. Staff were very friendly and housekeeping brought up a fan to make it a bit more comfortable for us. Parking was very convenient. Having access to the spa and pools at the Inn was a highlight.

Close to historic Williamsburg. Access to the main Inn and its facilities: dining, bar and swimming pools. The smaller house was dark and smelled

Ok, the prices for this room and any of the Colonial Williamsburg properties are expensive, but staying directly on the colonial streets was really nice. It gave us the opportunity to walk to restaurants and to simply walk the site that is Colonial Williamsburg. The room was decorated in the fashion of the time with a canopy on the bed etc. It wasn't large but was nice. We enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed ourselves in the quaint kind of room we were. The room was freezing when we got there, but managed to adjust it well. The place had a beautiful atmosphere-especially at night. The streets were quiet and "very colonial".

Location was perfect for walking Colonial Williamsburg. Parking included anywhere in CW. Room had sufficient upgrades and very clean. Great if you just need a bed and bath. No in room microwave. Discounts for breakfast would be nice. Noise from hallway, adjacent rooms and outside more than a traditional hotel. Small room.

Stayed in the Brick House Tavern and had an amazing stay! The bed was so comfortable and the room itself had such cozy vibes! My husband and I loved it because it felt more like home than a hotel. The amenities were great and we liked sitting by the tranquility pool and hot tub at the Inn. It was worth every penny and we will definitely be back!

    Great experience all around!

Super clean and cute room - I stayed in the Tavern Rooms down on the Duke of Gloucester Street. The bellmen were exceptionally helpful and provided the shuttle to the room and even to my next destination at William and Mary. I did get to enjoy a pedicure at the spa which was a quick walk from where my room was. I would definitely stay here again!
