Very spacious quiet clean rooms
-
We had a wonderful stay at the Griffin Hotel. The staff was amazing, as was the restaurant across the way at the Williamsburg Inn.
-
Super location - walkable to CW market square, but a nice quiet and picturesque spot next to the Williamsburg Inn. Super helpful, friendly staff and generous sized rooms with lovely amenities
-
Convenient location, friendly staff, quiet and safe Internet could have been better

-
Great stay, close to CW and WM campys. little older hotel but nicely run. Rooms are large.

Superb
-
The Griffin never disappoints — large comfortable rooms, great location, peaceful environment, and an affordable way to stay at a historic property.
-
We had a great time at Griffin. It is a bit dated, but that is part of the charm of Williamsburg.

Bad
-
Bathroom ceiling was leaking. Hotel was very tired for the price. Staff didn’t seem to care much about the leaking roof.
-
The good: nice setting. Quiet, secluded. Nice location- near colonial burg. A balcony with a Nice view of the pond/fountain. Good price. Pillows were very comfortable. The room was a nice size and had the amenities you would want/expect: fridge, safe, sofa, desk and even a telephone in the bathroom (what, is this 1990?). All in all, a nice overnight stay. Would do it again
-
Location is convenient to Colonial Williamburgs and thats the only positive about this hotel. Old and tired furnishings and decor, uncomfortable squeaky bed, musty tasting ice, terrible coffee, lackluster help from reception
-
Great hotel only complaint the person who was supposed to be putting stuff out for the breakfast wasn’t doing their job because we came to have breakfast and there was very little there and it was supposed to be open for another hour and a half
-
Hugh rooms with sofa, 2 leather wing back chairs, and exlarge coffee table. Closet area included a dressing area with a separate sink & vanity and large dresser. Balcony was at least three times larger than a usual hotel balcony with 4 chairs. My room overlooked a lush garden and pond with a lovely and large fountain. Extra wide halls. Parking immediately beside hotel rooms. Definitely stay again.
