Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Williamsburg-Historic Gateway by IHG

We had an amazing time! Very helpful and friendly ppl. Check in was easy and the customer service was EXCELLENT!! We were however very disappointed that online said there was a hot tub along with an indoor pool. There was an indoor pool but no hot tub. We were looking forward to relaxing a lil bit in the hot tub. Other than that we were very pleased!

Everything was perfect. Anytime we needed something in our room, the staff was quick to bring it. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was good, however, the room had a damp smell.

Very clean, food was very good and affordable at the restaurant, close enough to Bush Gardens. Highly recommend!

Exceptional

We left the next day and came back, our beds weren’t made. The next day we came back beds were made. Third day we came back and only 1 bed was made. Really!!?? The Indoor pool was ice cold; we couldn’t even swim.

Good location to all the places you might want to go

Great location and one of the cleanest hotels I have been to in quite some time. Highly recommend.

Nice

I prefer 4 to 5 star hotels only. This was a family reunion otherwise I would never stay at a Holiday Inn. The staff at desk was dirty an smelled the manager was not nice over phone. Never again was too expensive for a holiday inn

The best area. Loved the breakfast.

Great location in Williamsburg for the Colonial area but also just a few minutes from Busch Gardens. Has a nice two bed suite that sleeps six easily. Comfy beds. Just stayed there this weekend.

The restaurant menu was awful

We really enjoyed the suite that we were in. We were able to get extra pillows and extra blanket. We were a little upset that our keys were turned off and when we went back to the hotel on the second night, we had to go back downstairs to have them re-magnetized for our room. The restaurant/bar attached to the hotel had quite a few people in there. The food was good except for the sliders. The meat on the sliders was well done, and the cheddar cheese on top had become transparent. Their fries are really, REALLY good!

The manager of this hotel went above and beyond to help me and my children settle in after having to check out of the worst hotel next door due to people smoking in their rooms. This manger was kind and compassionate even at midnight. Top notch customer service and the room was perfect.

The property is convenient to everything!

Ice machine on third floor was out of order our entire stay. Lotion in dispenser was old and rancid. Beds were firm, room very clean , good location. We didn’t eat breakfast but the area looked nice

Breakfast was really great. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was big and clean upon arrival. Breakfast was great but was concerned when I was given a breakfast coupon for 2 adults, 2 kids. We booked a room for 2 adults and 3 kids. I was assured at the front desk that all children could eat for free with our room reservation. Room service provided clean towels but only made 1 bed, not the 2nd double bed my kids used, not the pullout bed either.

A great stay for 6 close to Busch Gardens. This hotel was perfect for us!
