Colonial Motel

My family stays here every year and we absolutely love it. It’s a smaller motel that is clean and well maintained. The couple that owns this property is always helpful and kind. It’s off the main strip but perfectly sits at the end so it’s not loud and crazy out front. We will be back next August. Thank you!!

Had a great time

Location, location, location! Easily walkable to anything on Broadway. This is a bare bone motel but clean and comfortable for the price point. Great pool for the kids in between outings. Will stay again.

Great location. 5 minute walk from the Upper Dells Boat tours and many restaurants. Bedsheets were clean. Has working AC. Found some bugs in the restroom.

Nothing When I went to check in the lady argued with me about not having a reservation until I showed her my confirmation email and then kept saying she doesn’t have it until she realized she was on the wrong date on her phone for checking us in. Lobby was very small and smelt weird. Then I got my key to my room went in to check and my reservation was supposed to be for a 2 bed room, when I went back to say the room was wrong she argued with me again and then when I stoped the conversation it resulted in me STILL having to pay an extra $24 for me to get a room with 2 beds. The room was so small and set up weird, the walls are so thin you can hear the other people’s television and conversations. The room did have a microwave and mini fridge but when we got in the room both were unplugged so it’s a good thing we didn’t have anything to put in the fridge right away for it to cool down. The bathroom didn’t have a shower head, just a spout thing. The bathroom was barely big enough for one person to be in. Also, there was ZERO outlets by the bed which made it annoying to find a place to plug in phones. Especially bc the one open outlet you could find was on the wall right next to the door and it had no tables or anything we could move by the outlet to put our devices on. All around just not a good place in my opinion for the money we paid.

Love the location, the staff are super nice, and the kitschy atmosphere is so cool. I liked everything.

Check in is easy to do and the location is perfect to get a whole loop of downtown.

The room was clean. The staff was very friendly. The price was just right if you are on a budget. Close to shops on Broadway. Hotel parking was good. I would stay here again The refrigerator froze everything in it. My eye drops, sandwich fixings. We did not realize until the next morning. All the breakfast sandwiches were hard as a rock. There was no way to turn it down. We wish the pool slide had water running down it at all times. The sun was so hot that it burned your skin if you were not careful.
