Highland Hostel

The volunteer Sean is a very genuine and welcoming person, he helped me organize the rest of my trip in Armenia and I'm very grateful. The common space is clean and large enough, with an open kitchen-living room. The bed was comfortable, I would come back again!

The price is very affordable compared to the facilities and comfort you get, which makes it great value for money. Most importantly, Sean, who runs the hostel, is one of the nicest people you can ever meet. He is incredibly friendly, very helpful, always responsive, and genuinely well-educated. He makes you feel welcome from the first moment and is always happy to help with anything. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again.

Kind and helpful host, very clean place, great location, and good heating. The only downside is being on the 5th floor, which can be a bit challenging with luggage.

A couple things. I know there are pictures to help you find the spot, but when you put the hostel into google maps, it's not an accurate address. What if you arrive at night? It would be really difficult to find this spot. Just a couple of simple signs would go a long way. To be honest, it smelled a little like BO everywhere in the hostel. If I was a woman, I would never stay here under those circumstances. As a dude traveling for a couple days, I could deal.

Very helpful and friendly staff, great central location, decent place for this price. I felt safe and pretty comfortable here. Not bad for a cheap hostel.

The location is impossible to find - no any visible signs at all. I wondered whether it was legal business. Thankfully, I can speak Russian, therefore I talked with local people around in Russian and found out overall direction, I even went to the correct 5th floor, but could not find the hostel since no sign at all. After calling to the owner, I figured out that I went to the correct place, but since there was not sign I just went downstairs again. When I was already in the hostel they finally sent me direction to the hostel. Lol. Who needs the direction to the place if you are already there.

The kitchen and bathroom are clean. Rooms, kitchen, bathroom and bed linens are cleaned and changed everyday. In my opinion the air conditioner in the room is not powerful enough and should be serviced. The hostel is located at the 5th floor and there is no elevator that is better considered in advance, but it is not a big deal for travellers.

Great hostel in a great location in Yerevan. Feels more like staying at a home than a hostel. The manager Mehrzatt is very nice and he has great music skills! Definitely recommend ?

Great place, great staff, super good all round. It is at the top of maybe 5 flights of stairs, annoying but not a dealbreaker.

Everything about this hostel was superb, including a nice kitchen and sitting area to relax and socialize with other guests.

Friendly staff, helpful tips, top clealiness

Very Clean, well equipped 5th floor ?

While it is close to most attractions, the entrance is hidden in the back alley way. Which isnt a bid deal but the the amount of stairs to climb to the top was exhausting. Just be prepared!

Convenient central location. Small clean & quiet hostel in an apartment that feels very much like home. Acting host,Daniel,was super kind, respectful & helpful with everything! He went above & beyond call of duty to get up at 2:30AM to help me order a ride to the airport and bring my suitcase down 6 floors of stairs to the vehicle. That simply is genuine kindness!! What an incredibly wonderful person! Tigran the owner was so sweet & often brought in treats for the guests. Highly recommended!

This little hostel has full kitchen facilities you can use, washing machine, WiFi, work area and private room options.

you will really felt at home in the place you can go cook for your own food and even wash your cloth very cheap and convenient to all the tourist who wants to have a best adventure

The hostel itself is spotless. The rooms, bathrooms, and common areas were all immaculate and well-maintained. They take pride in keeping the place in great shape. What stood out the most was the atmosphere – friendly and relaxed, but also professional. Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, this is a great place to stay. I’ll be back the next time I’m in town. Highly recommended!
