Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when I checked in at almost midnight. Felt very safe. Everything I saw was clean and tidy, the room was spacious, and I liked having a bathroom attached to my room. I was especially fond of the 24-hour community space; it had lots of comfy chairs, good fans to keep us cool, and a fun lighting system. I quite enjoyed watching football in there with other people late at night. I would've liked to have an outlet next to my top bunk and a little shelf to put things such as my phone and glasses. I mostly had to use the community room to charge my phone which wasn't completely ideal. The bed was slightly too firm for my liking, though I do realize that's a personal preference, and it was a little awkward climbing up top. The other thing I noticed is that on my first night I had to check in at around 11:50 and almost didn't show up due to the front desk closing time being 12. Luckily I did, and the staff member was wonderful, but my second night I noticed that the front desk closed at 11 instead. I don't know if that was some information that I missed or what but if I had been one day later I might not have been able to check in.

A value option, it’s inexpensive. Staff were helpful and arranging luggage storage was easy. Securing bags in locked drawers was easy. Bathrooms had and smelled of black mold. Walking distance to the railway station was just enough to be annoying.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is excellent. I really enjoyed the shared kitchen, lounge, and dining area, not to mention the garden! I stayed on the second floor in a single room with a private bathroom. The hostel is located in a quiet area, which I found very pleasant. When I left, a staff member even gave me a book to read during my trip. Nothing.

Everything was great

I had a private room with bath/toilet and it was wonderful. The view was over a garden and totally private. The community kitchen in great and there is plenty of common area space (lounge & dining & kitchen bar & bar) The kitchen opens at 7 am but my train left before then, so I couldn't put my stuff in the refrigerator. I could hear the neighbor snore (the walls are thin)

A really great Hostal. I have stayed in many around the world. Excellent dorms, comfortable mattresses, good shower and really pleasant rooms to socialise, with a huge kitchen and self service breakfast. Great Valley for money

Such an amazing place!! 10/10 recommend. The building is super cute and cozy and they have a great really large kitchen, a cozy lounge room with lots of places to sit and even a piano and guitar. There’s also a cool bar and a large dining area. The staff were amazing, super friendly and always there to help, recommended things and chat. Erika one of the female staff does a really cool and informative walking tour that’s completely free!! It was awesome! It’s super close to everything, within 20min walking distance of almost all the sites. Also a bus stop right outside the hostel. Rooms were cozy and had bathrooms directly in them. Overall such a great place!

Super cute and a short easy walk from major parts of the city. As a woman solo traveling, I felt incredibly safe even walking home at night.

It was a nice experience, but the hostel is quite crowded year round.

The staff was super helpful and friendly

Old and grungy rooms 15-20 min walk from City Center, had inconsiderate roommates who left bathroom a mess after their showers.
-
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, fun environment, clean rooms, hot water. I highly recommend this place! Wifi didn’t really work in the room, but yeah, who cares. Top-notch hostel.

A wonderful place to stay to enjoy the town. Highly recommended stay

Friendly staff. Large kitchen with many items to cook with. Shower in each dorm room with good hot water. Quiet and nice spaces to hang out.

Clean linen, under-bed lockers, hot shower | WiFi was okay | functional kitchen | Location is south of the train station and city center, but walkable | there was almost no room for guest food storage, it seems like the volunteers take up most of the space | music in the common area can be loud at times | sitting room has few plug outlets, and would benefit from corded power strips |

The staff and “vibe” were so positive! The kitchen is huge and immaculate; the location is very convenient for bus and train travel. Our single room was immaculate and very quiet. The other travelers were great conversationalists. There were plenty of varied hang out spaces and games from which to choose. No negatives!
