Short walk into the city. Really friendly and helpful staff. Very tasty breakfast. Large room in a beautifully presented old house. We stayed during a heatwave and there was no air con or fans in the room. We had to sleep with the windows open, but being on a main road, that brought its own problems. It was a freak heatwave, and I know the manager was waiting on a delivery of fans, so for the future it may not be a problem, but it took the shine off an otherwise lovely room and very comfy bed .

The bedroom was nice and comfortable There were no staff around and was charged for parking in spite of me being a resident. The breakfast was not very nice.

Location was excellent for my purpose, very quiet location, staff were friendly, room was clean, tidy and comfortable, as I arrived early I was let in the room just to drop my bags then go until the normal arrival time. The bathroom was ok, the shower excellent. Unfortunately the bathroom sink wasn't very serviceable, the sink was small and narrow, the water spout was right over the sink, with a shelf above it making use very awkward. The internet went down on the 3rd day off 3.

Clean, charming English boutique hotel Ironing facilities missing from the room even though listed as available in the booking. Charged a 60 pound surcharge for my two kids even though I paid for a room with a sofa bed. Maintenance needed on the windows

Rooms were modern and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
