Staff were friendly and could feel they were trying their best Breakfast was poor. Bathroom ( shower & toilet set up) was tiny, cramped, and devoid of toiletries

The location to the railway station and the town center was a 10 minute walk. The staff were so polite and friendly. The breakfast was very good. And the beds were very comfortable will definitely stay again if in York Nothing

Our downstairs room was beautifully cool during the heatwave and easily accessible as I have difficulty walking. Good choice of food for breakfast too. We liked the short stroll to the river and easy access to the station without need for taxis.

The staff was absolutely fantastic and the breakfast was delicious.

Perfect location for exploring by the river and into the city. Parking was £15 for 24 hours which was reasonable and close to the hotel which was ideal. Rooms were comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely too. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay again if visiting York again. It was close to a railway line which we didn’t realise, which was a little noisy but trains were infrequent.

Had a really nice experience at the stay ! The staff were really friendly at the breakfast! A portable fan would be great in the rooms, it was a quite warm inside the room.

Staff extremely friendly and helpful , Caroline who served us breakfast was such a character, couldn't do enough for us ☺️ Nothing to dislike.

The owner was super friendly, helpful and professional. It was a last minute booking for us as we were attending a gig nearby at York museums. Excellent little guest house. Will definitely come again!

Lovely b&b. Excellent location 5 minutes from the train station, close to town and a stones throw from the river. Very clean, comfy bed and good breakfast. I would stay again. We was in room 1 on the ground floor next to the dining room, so when the staff came in to start preparing for breakfast we was awake with noise. Totally understandable and unavoidable and wouldn't stop me booking there again.
