Very good location, quick walk from the train station and from all the major tourist spots. Nice touch having the tea/coffee/water and snacks in the room. Easy to access with instructions sent in good time before arrival. Fan in room to help it keep cool. Be warned it is next to a bar so music can be loud if you are a light sleeper, but earplugs were provided. A/C would be a help to keep room cooler.

fantastic location, would imagine it gets noisy on weekends late night, but thats all because of location and you can't have it all, would definately book again and recommend, the fan was a great bonus. having tea and coffee making facilities and soft drinks in the foyer was a welcome plus. nothing at all, had a bit of an issue accessing the property due to a minor issue with the door, might be worthwhile mentioning this in the description, till it gets sorted.

Very clean very good location very nice interior good shower and kitchen Way too Hot!25 degrees outside but extremely hot inside !had to leave early as couldn’t sleep at all !Cost me a fortune as had to buy more train ticket’s home !

Staff were lovely, room was very spacious and not too far from the centre. Everything was great no faults at all.

The beds in the twin room are extremely narrow. Guests require an advanced feeling of balance to sleep on them. This is a basic thing. No matter how clean and well-located the hotel is when it is impossible to sleep in the room.

Great communication with Karen Room was clean How loud the street was The entrance stank of strong bleach Disliked the decor On arrival graffiti style all over the walls Also disliked how our toilet was outside the room, my little boy didn’t feel comfortable going to the toilet in the night

Loved The Fort, it’s a full apartment with everything you need. Location couldn’t be more central, just a few minutes walk from the Shambles, would definitely stay again
