Staff were amazing and perfect location. The older part of the hotel was shabby and tired.

Close to city Needs updating. Aircon was poor. Towel rail on the wall in 207 is not screwed in properly. Rubbish left in the corridors.

Location excellent, bathroom clean and room spacious. Bed comfortable. Communal areas cool and comfortable to chill in Aircon on but didnt cool room, think needs replaced. We were given a fan which helped a little bit but still too hot. Breakfast fine but prefer more fruit options. Also ordered a taxi with reception, and whilst we didnt say where we were going, the receptist told taxi firm we were going to railway station...we weren't, we were going to an air bnb. Not the end of the world but strange not to be asked

Charged £50.00 for parking i didn't use emailed the hotel and have had no response.

Location, dining area, staff. My room (9) AC not working. Moved to Room 3 which was cooler despite AC not working either. A full refund would be appropriate.

The location was good Friendly staff and a good breakfast The room was terrible. Room 45 on the outside of the hotel in the attic with a stand up fan on the hottest day of the year. Terrible nights sleep

One night was 207 quid for the second It was 93 quid plus the food in the restaurant was okay but it was ridiculously expensive same with a breakfast. It wasn’t that good? It was also expensive. The location was absolutely spot-on touring round York

Staff really helpful. Breakfast excellent. Well, I would not recommend having dinner there. But then they acknowledge that.

The location was great The rooms were old and the ground floor room smelt of damp. The Hotel had a function on and did not offer food for residents because the function took priority. Its the first hotel I ever stayed at that did not offer an evening meal.
