Perfect location. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Peaceful. For some unknown reason there was no soap or shampoo in any of the containers.

Top floor penthouse apartment didn’t have a view because balcony is solid and trees have been let to grow and block river view

Very comfortable stay. Very close to the city centre, but felt very quiet. It was less than 10 minutes walk to the historic city centre.

Location , size of the room , amenities I was expecting to have a sofa in my room and there was none

Great location, dog friendly, decent room and happy with a river view Dog policy is too restrictive, we both wanted to use the gym together but couldn’t as we weren’t allowed to leave our dog alone in the room and couldn’t take her to the gym. Coffee machine was broken, reception said on check in that they’d make complimentary drinks but then we were charged. Grounds weren’t particularly well lit which was awkward when walking our dog at night.

Great location. Very quiet area. Weather was cool, windy and rainy at times but the hotel was very comfortable in all areas. Lots of steps to get into the hotel - my knees don't appreciate too many steps! Once settled in we found that there is a lift which goes down to the underground car park so we made use of it :)

Great location great facilities great staff A little bit pricey but they do have a discount scheme and the location is great

A lovely thought with the free coffee and fresh croissants! Good seating outside with tables and chairs overlooking the river. Very comfortable bed and lovely shower and all clean. Would definitely go again as an easy walk into the centre of York. Problem with casting chrome on the TV but eventually managed to work it out!

Staff was very helpful and kind. Really appreciated the help.

Spacious apartment, with kitchenette and all amenities. Very useful, as we needed this to prepare food for our baby. Excellent bed mattress and pillows. Also, we liked the fact that we could have free bottomless coffee from the coffee machine plus croissant breakfast. The toilet paper in the room was what was left from the previous clients, they did not put a new one for us. Also, we left the card for the cleaner to clean our room on the door when we left the room, but the room was not cleaned.

There was a mess of dust mixed with hair under the bed that blew out as I walked by--ew!

The only thing that we didn't like was when the coffee machine in the lobby ran out of supplies to make decaf coffee.

Overall it was a perfect stay. May e distance to York Minster but the collider you stay the older the hotels…

Good location near river. Nice quiet area of city. About 20 minute walk from train station and most city venues. Easy check in/check out. Complementary morning croissants and coffee. Free left luggage lockers. Almost perfect but a couple of trivial things could be better. Door handle to bathroom was loose and floor into bathroom slightly lumpy but again this is trivial. TV stopped working properly on last night but again this didn't really matter to us.
