Whole Wide World Hostel & Bar

My floors toilets and showers were out of service, but the other ones weren't too crowded so it wasn't too bad.

I had a good time there, I could rest well the AC was perfect specially during the summer, the breakfast is included and it was super good more that you can expect from a free breakfast. -

To improve, the price to keep the luggage when you arrive/leave the Hostal, I always complain about to pay for that, but if I pay, the cost should be around 2 or 3 € for the time the people need. And the curtains for the beds are necessary.

The hostel is awesome. Super clean. Good location. It's only Walking distance to the center. Nearby to any public transportations. The Staffs are awesome. especially Maximilian, who made scramble eggs for for breakfast. Super delicious. It made my day. He stands out! Grazie mille Max! Overall I had good experience staying there. Well Recommended. Sweet w The location is a bit hard to find for a new come But then, you'll get used to it.

The hostel was very clean, the staff extremely friendly, and location was ideal. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Quite comfortable, clean, and spacious! Also appreciated the air conditioning. Limited bathrooms.

great crew It was close to tram allowing access to whole city. Had an on-site bar and great socializing riom. Also homemade breakfast was a real plus. No curtains on bed or individual light for each bed.

Well located near city center Too noisy, I get they have this weekend activities at the bar downstairs but they shouldn’t allowed guests to bring the noisy and party upstairs.

There could be hair drier in the bathroom but no biggie

The vibe at this hostel is amazing! It’s one of those rare places that perfectly balances a social atmosphere with a comfortable stay. They organize great events, which made it incredibly easy to meet people and feel at home right away.

It was an amazing hostel and I would recommend it to anyone that likes to socialize with other guests! The staff was amazing and very approachable and really made the experience even better. The hostel was clean and a big plus was the free breakfast they offer every day.

Also bed is comfortable and overall the hostel is clean . Just if we can check what needs to be repaired specially in toilets and showers will be great

A super fun place! Close to everything too! We arrived a bit late but it wasn't a problem. Staff were super nice! Got our key and went to explore till like 3 am - no problem. Public transport runs all day and you just enter and go to your room. It's located in a courtyard, so it's shielded from direct sun or wind. Everything is clean and well maintained. We were in the middle of the floor so it gets a bit busy in the morning, but people are polite and respectful. Breakfast was top notch too! A lovely lady asked us directly whether we would like eggs and sausages for breakfast. I said yes and she prepared and brought us the eggs in the breakfast area! Lots of other options(lots of local stuff) to choose from too! You won't need another bite for the day, trust me! And best of all? It was all the different people you can meet and chat with - from around the world! Maybe even explore together or have a party at the place. People were still talking about how fun the past karaoke night was! I highly recommend! You kinda wish you got to spend more time, but now we know. Highly recommend! Cheers, Nick! We brought some ear plugs just in case (tho the hostel has some too). Not that there was any need really, just some random door slammer in the middle of the night(who knows why). We were well rested, so yeah, not a biggy.

The free breakfast is amazing as far as free breakfast in hostels go. The location is perfect to see all the main sites in Zagreb as well. All of the staff members and volunteers were so sweet and amazing to talk to. The main people that comes to mind are Booba, Barbara, and Lip. The events that the hostel held every night were super fun and brought the whole hostel together. Everyone became fast friends and socialized all night. Important for guests to note that the beds don't have curtains, but for me that was a small problem overall.

Dirty toilet and lack of facilities, sheets had hair on it. Poor breakfast.

Tried two different times in two days, but there’s no hot water for shower.

Good place to party and hang out

Staff was professional and nice, the breakfast was good given that it was included in the price and the location is excellent. I was in a room on the first floor and could hear people talking on the ground floor very clearly, like they were in front of my room. The acoustic in my room was such that I could hear very clearly everything that was going on the ground floor and in the rooms next to mine. I do not think this is the case with all of the rooms, as I stayed in the hostel before and this did not happen. The hostel states on their website and in their messages that it is a party place and this is something that should be understood as a fact. The music on the first floor does not stop before midnight and the guests stay up talking during the night, which can be heard throughout the hostel. In a way I would not mind partying, but people talking loudly in the hallways during the night is maybe just bad manners.
