Passable

Centrally located - Check in is done through a machine, we arrived at 6pm and had booked a parking space inside the hotel, impossible to access it and no one was there to help. - AC didn’t work in our room located under the roof on the last floor (felt more like a sauna), quite unacceptable given the outside temperature - breakfast is across the street in another « sister » hotel, and was rather average. Don’t expect to sip your coffee in the beautiful coffee downstairs

Great location for traveling, right by the central train station and a short walk to the Landesmuseum and river front. Perfect if you’re just spending a night or two in Zurich. Luxurious shampoo, soap, and lotion provided. Friendly proprietor. There is AC, but I couldn’t set the temperature, so my top floor room was pretty warm (I could open the window, but it was too hot outside).

Location, bar, staff Check in is a nightmare system of registering on a machine. It does not work, for anyone…frustrating especially since staff are there. The neighbouring sister hotel checked me in quickly instead

Luggage storage Good location No kettle in room Was boiling hot Window shades bad No fan
-
The proximity to the main train station and to good restaurants. The hotel doesn’t have A\C, not just in the room, but in the entire hotel. I called the hotel number (there’s no front desk at the hotel, check-in is automated), to complain about the room not getting colder, and I was told the hotel has only air flowing through the vents, and he recommended I opened the window.

Location Room Coffee machine was not working..

Clean nice bed No milk in room I like a desk person check in is hard as you get older

Close to the train and bus station. We were able to walk there with our luggage. There was zero aircon and room temperature was 33 degrees, when we opened windows and door we managed to get it down to 30 degrees. However then we had the noise from trains coming and going, squealing brakes!

Location & room size great, but no AC & room was therefore like an oven !

Fantastic roof deck. Great location right by the train station. One of my two rooms had a great balcony. Nice cafe in the lobby. Self check in, which I do find a little impersonal. One of the two rooms I booked was tiny, albeit adequate.

Very good location The AC didn’t work and our room was 29 degrees Celsius. It had only a small window and it was really loud from the trains. We arrived shortly after 9 pm and there was no staff - had to go to a different location to get the key. Did not meet any hotel staff at check out either. Our room was missing towels (it was set up for one person, not two - despite my booking for two) but we as there was no staff there was nothing we could do. Overall, passable but far from a great experience

Location is great. Near the train station. 15 mins to the airport. Nearby coop and kiosks. Our room has a veranda. It was hot in the room. No AC. Peak of summer and all day outside, it would help to sleep in a cool, comfortable room.

Good rooms, location, and breakfast. The staff as before was great, helpful, courteous, very nice indeed. Shower does not have a door, and pillows are too soft

It was easy to get to from the train station. Clean, sheets were soft. It was right next to the train station - we had two rooms for our family, one of them the air conditioning worked pretty well, the second not really at all ... So with the windows open all night, that room heard EVERY bit of train squealing and street noise. It's a nice enough hotel, but not boutique ... The air conditioning not working, no one picking up when I called, each room had only one bath towel (make that make sense for rooms with king beds??), the train noise was really a lot more unbearable than other reviews left. In the future I'll be more particular about booking a hotel near a train station and what the reviews say about AC (we don't have AC at home in Germany, but we have a better handle on managing heat/cooling there apparently).
