Location is good, 15 mins walks to the main station, many restaurants nearby, however rooms are very basic, it does offer some value for money, though staff at reception is friendly and cooperative, so no complains, nothing as such, internet was not too responsive at times

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Hirschen! The hotel was lovely, comfortable, and we really enjoyed our time there. Everything about our stay was great. The only thing I wish the hotel had was air conditioning, especially during the warmer weather. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend staying here! The location is great. Staff where nice and accommodating. The breakfast is good. There is no air conditioning which made it challenging in 30 plus heat but the building is very old so it is expected. No hairdryer in the room or fridge. But the staff did put things in their main fridge if asked.

The bed is too small for 2 persons veryyyyy small , there is not air conditioner, and when you open the windows the noise is very loud

Great central location next to a plaza and one block from tram stop. Facility was clean. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was reasonably priced and available earlier than local restaurant options. Two potential problems. First was that we visited during a heat wave and had to leave the windows open as NO air conditioning. Minimal breeze so the room stayed uncomfortably hot. Second, we visited during a weekend. The restaurants in the adjacent plaza stayed open to 2am and the crowd noise further kept us awake with the windows open. This was further complicated as the morning business trucks, etc started at 6:30 and their noise ensured that you couldn't really sleep. Had the windows been closed (I.e., no heat wave), it would have been a different outcome. Lastly, as a note, there are about 15 steps you have to climb to get to the front desk. If you're bags are heavy or if you have mobility issues, this hotel may not be for you.

The location is very nice, the bed was small but very comfortable i slept very well :) breakfast had very limited options, in that price should have been more. and room size is quite small as well

Location was wonderful! Could walk to most anything in Old town Zurich. No Air Conditioning. Most places in Zurich don't have A/C because in the past they didn't need it. Was there during a heat wave in Europe.They did give us a fan and we opened the windows but was still very hot.

Location was amazing, right in the middle of the old town. Staff were very friendly. The weather was hot so just the fan was minimum to keep cool. A bit noisy at night, but that comes with being in the center of the old town.

The place is in Old Town. The hotel itself is quaint. Lots of nice restos within the area, there are ones just outside the door entrance in the square.
