The room smelled strongly of smoke and had bed bugs crawling all over the place

Unique and comfortable. Good bed. The WiFi kept going in and out so it effectively didn’t work.

I could hear everything from the room next to me. They had a party and loud sex until 6am

That is was a nice room for the money. It was clean and cozy. One of the lights in the bathroom wasn't functioning and there were exposed wires coming out of the ceiling. That this isn't really a hotel but just 5 rooms on the first floor of an apartment building with a Chinese restaurant attached to it. There is no staff, no reception desk, no facilities and just a kiosk down an alley way that you used to check in. Travelers beware, if you don't have your booking/reservation# with you, you will not be able to check in and allow the kiosk to dispense your room's key card. Luckily we print out all our travel reservations so we had our booking/reservation# handy.

The staff was very helpful, and nice. No bulb in the main lighting, but was exchanged. The safety deposit box did not work, but the staff exchanged the batteries

Close to club The walls were thin and people next to us was rude
-
Noisy in the nearby square. Soap dispensers broken. Where was the reception referenced in the checkin sheet? No response to my request to check in early.

The only thing I liked was the location.

Even though the system was error and there was no any room left for us but the owner tried his best to find solution for us and he is very responsible.

We do many reviews and we can usually find something good to say, with constructive input. This is not one of those reviews. Booking.com can not have ever visited this 'hotel' or else they would not represent it. For starters, it is horribly set by a back alley with crumbing concrete and no signage for how to get into the building. The very nice man at the Chinese restaurant attached to the building - Thomas - was there, but could only do so much. The room? Oh, my heavens! It was tiny, with a small bed shoved against the wall to allow room to move from the door to the very scary bathroom. The bathroom: A shower head hanging over a drain in the floor in one corner. No kind of tile or bathroom walls - just crumbling sheetrock looking material. The shower head was barely attached & looked as though it would could crumbling down any minute. The room was so tiny that we traded rooms with a friend who was traveling with us. Since he was just one person, he decided he could put up with the bed against the wall and the lack of space. The room we traded him for had more space, but the same horribly crumbling shower situation - no tile-like material, just the cheap, marked up sheetrock looking stuff. There is no staff on site. They gave us one room key and - in an e-mail - warned it would be $50 to replace it. There was no one on site to help, though, if we accidentally locked ourselves out of the room. They left one bath towel for both of us to use. We had to e-mail booking.com to beg for more towels. There was only one cup for the coffee maker. When we tried to use the coffee maker, it wouldn't work. (We walked across the square to a coffee shop.) This hotel borders on being a scam. By using a photo of the regular size room, then giving us the smaller bed - we had booked a king - with no basic comforts like nightstands or space - it had all the charm of a jail cell. Very scary. I'll just repeat...Booking.com can not have ever visited this 'hotel' or else they would not represent it. We will be doing reviews on multiple travel sites to help others avoid the scary experience of spending money to stay at this place.
