Clean quiet room. The two outlets under the lamps did not work. Good thing my CPAP machine has a long cord and plugged into a near wall outlet. Also the toilet was very low, about shin height. And I'm not a tall person at all. Oh well.

Came for the pool and it didn’t disappoint! Room could use some upgrades, our bedside outlets didn’t really work due to being old and chargers wouldn’t really stay in. We did request a housekeeping to come change or refresh our room but they did not come. Not to sure why, wasn’t a huge deal but being there for a few days our trash did start to pile up lol. Staff was very friendly and helpful otherwise. We would definitely want to come back.

The only thing I liked about this place was the forest preserve was right next to it. That’s it. And when we first got to the hotel, the young lady at the front desk was the only good thing. Others than that the hotel. Some parts didn’t Have air condition mean, and some did. The pool was extremely cold. When it said it was heated. When we arrive at the hotel. The hot tub was barely starting to work again so we had to wait an additional two hours from our arrival for the hottub to warm up, and then the lights go out in the entire hotel we gave them ample amount of time like two hours after the lights went out to allow them to try and fix the problem, but it was not fixed. Our room started to get hot so eventually, we all had to go to the lobby. When we get to the lobby there We’re new guest arriving and getting free rooms for the inconvenience and the people that were already there myself And a couple of other families, When we asked what the problem was and why there was no back up generator and what was going to happen that the power has been out for over more than two hours at this point and what’s going to happen with our money they said if we did not like it, we can go somewhere else and they only spoke like that to the Hispanics and the African-Americans. I found that very disrespectful but in that same instant turns around and gives a Caucasian Family, who just walked in for the night, a free room for the inconvenience. So my family and I gathered our belongings and ended up leaving for the night so we did not even get to spend the whole night. There. This happened around 10 o’clock and by the time we left it was one in the morning and there were still no power. Which was crazy to us because every building surrounding us had power. It was just our hotel. I travel all the time with my family and we always have great experiences but this had to be one of the worst ones ever. Not only. Was it a terrible stay, but we lost our money for a room that we didn’t even spend the night in.

The staff was incredibly. I had packages arrive in advance and they were super friendly and accommodating about the packages. Every time I walked by, they smiled and were authentically friendly. The bed was not comfortable. I didn't sleep much the whole time I was there. Also the air conditioning was very loud and woke me up repeatedly during the night as it cycled off and on. Also, there is just a cafe for light food downstairs. It's fine for one day. But I expected a full restaurant.

The staff at the Courtyard is what made this stay pleasant. From the front desk to the concierge to the bistro… all were amiable. The amenities could stand and upgrade but I’m sure that’s in the plans. We stayed for our daughter’s bball tournament for 6 nights and felt like home. Love the lounge area for more space outside of our room as well.

Superb

Poorly designed temperature thermostat; small, handicap-accessible shower with shower curtain that draped OUTSIDE the shower, allowing water to collect on the floor; very poor lighting in bathroom
-
No extra outlets in the room.Iron was leaking water in all rooms we booked. So it was not one room problem.felt like cosmetic fixing on a rundown place.

We had an over all positive experience. As always the staff was helpful and very polite. House keeping accommodate our needs and got us a clean room for our second day stay even though we left late in the day.
