Pestana Blue Alvor Beach - All Inclusive Hotel

Nice adult pool Only one restaurant available unless you stay 4 days or more. Bad smell of sewage in bathroom. WiFi not great in outdoor areas. AC didn’t work good in room

The buffet was great food but the options got boring. We stayed for 7 nights and by night 4 we were wanting to eat somewhere else.

Hard working restaurant and cleaning staff. First: HORRIBLE coffee. Management should drink a machine coffee in the restaurant and compare it with the pingo down the street. Second: Booked room with ocean view and sofa bed and received pool view and a dirty mattress thrown on the floor with 2 pillows called “sofa”. No offer of refund of the price difference was made and no apology.

The staff was kind and attentive, food was phenomenal and the drinks were top tier. The outdoor pool was not heated.

Lots of things to do Needs maintenance. More variety of food for breakfast. More variety of fruits. Fresh juices would be great. Bartender that can actually make the cocktails. Bathrooms needs an upgrade

The beach is perfect. The breakfast was OK with various types of foods. Some of facilities was closed due to being off season for example KIDs club and themed restaurants. The quality of food is not good, they might use good material but the taste is not good at all. I have stayed 7 days and not a single dish that I liked.

Location and the view The play area was closed at 8 p.m., which is terrible. There is nothing to do with children in the rain and in the evening. A female animator just came and turned off the light during our pool game with my daughter for €3. Last time it was for free!

The location is amazing and the staff was very nice. - The facbric of the chairs of the restautant are just very very dirty and the roof full of dust. - The indoor swimming pool was cold, so no SPA :( - The food in the restaurant does not worth the value, dry and cold food, very little choices of sweets. Same for breakfast, don't put your expetctations very high in terms of food.

Beautiful hotel with everything one needs for a great vacation. The staff was friendly and helpful. The view was fantastic! Everything was perfect!

Excellent friendly helpful staff, hotel cleanliness thoughout exceptional. Location few steps to beach and boardwalk. Food very good selection, quality and quantity. Nothing, all very good.

The hotel was nice, mostly clean, the staff were nice, especially Mariana, how ever i found that the food was just ok, and there wasnt much to do.

Very good rooms, amazing view and location I got food poisoning on my first day, and they my wife got food poisoning on the last day of the stay. It seems like there is a rotavirus on the loose. Also, really disliked the food, neither in the common zone, nor in the restaurant (to my confusion) nobody adds salt. I understand, that I can salt it myself, but for some dishes like pasta it is very important to cook with salt, which did not happen. All the food - fish, meat, poultry was dry and overcooked every single time. The only exception was veal steaks once. The fresh vegetables were not fresh. They were a bit stale and with sightings of being spoiled. The personnel and the private concierge service was not as good as it sounds. We could have booked the restaurant ourselves, but instead of that, we had wait for two days waiting for it to be booked.

This property is about a 7-10 minute walk to the beach, it is very clean, and the rooms are very nice. The staff was great and helpful especially Melissa at the front desk. There was a variety of food options for adults. Alvor beach is attached to a beautiful beach with rocky cliffs. No Sun beds at the beach. Poor selection of food for the kids.

The kids' club was fantastic — a real highlight for families — and the kids' disco was a great bonus that our little ones really enjoyed. The room was also very clean and a comfortable space to relax in. Check-in was quite slow, and housekeeping was inconsistent: while beds were made, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, and towels were either not changed or replenished sufficiently. I was also surprised by the lack of basic bathroom amenities for a 4-star hotel. Additionally, although there are three restaurants on-site, guests with shorter stays are only allowed access to the standard buffet, which we found quite bland — it was disappointing not to have the option to try the other dining venues.
