The breakfast buffet! The setting by a canal… you could see herons and people paddling/rowing. The admin is not consistent from an agent to another but they honored the right rates and were somewhat flexible with the process.

Brilliant location in an affordable area. It was easy to get to the centre via a short 10min walk to the tram. Very comfortable bed and quiet twin room with lovely decor downstairs and full, fresh hot and cold breakfast options. The restaurant was especially gorgeous and overlooked a small harbour/ junction of canals. We sat out in the sun in the morning watching the rowing club and birds before starting our day! My brother and I had a great stay and would highly recommend. The air con could have been better/ adjustable but this did not impact the quality of our stay overall.

I stayed at Apollo Hotel Amsterdam for four nights and overall had a great experience. The hotel has beautiful canal views. On my first night, I was assigned a ground-floor right by the water, and the view was lovely. Unfortunately, there was a leak in the bathroom, with water dripping from the ceiling above the toilet and shower. Although I loved the room's location and view, I requested a room change the next day as a health precaution. The staff accomodated my request, though I found them to be professional rather than particulary friendly. The breakfast was excellent, with delicious food and beautiful views. I also enjoyed the hotel bar- the Lychee Martini and Midori Sour were both fantastic. Despite the issue with first room, I had an enjoyable stay and would still highly recommend Apollo Hotel Amsterdam for its location, views, breakfast, and bar. The leaking room but had great views.

location and staff Have stayed at your hotel several times over the last few years and no longer a 4 star hotel. Rooms are worn particularly carpet and bathroom caulk.

The shower set up was poor. Using it to get a good shower meant water on the floor. To keep the floor dry i had to squeeze into the end
