The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location of the property is excellent, in the heart of everything, but still quiet in the evening. The room was spotless, and the bed, though tiny, was comfortable. Certainly a fine place to stay for a night or two. The room is tiny, very tiny. Also, the bathroom design means you must be careful in the shower to avoid getting everything wet. There is no closet, just a rod with some hangers at the end of the bed. Amsterdam is expensive and this hotel is proof of that, though cheaper than many other nearby properties it is overpriced for what you get.

The CityView Hotel is in an excellent location. The staff was friendly and helpful and the property is kept very clean. Bed, though small, was very comfortable. Despite being right in the heart of the city it was quiet at night. My room was tiny, even by European standards, and overpriced for what you got. Amsterdam is an expensive city but I couldn’t help but feel I was overpaying. The WiFi is also slow and spotty.

The room was dirty, the bathroom without shower soap, and the shower leaking. And dirty bathroom.

Location was very convenient There was nothing but the price was too much for what they offer. Even the shampoo/body wash, you need to double the strength to push for it to come out.

Bedding was old, a pillow on the bed was dirty and the mattress tilted so far to one side it felt like I was going to roll off in the night

Probably the tiniest room I've ever stayed in. And real trouble getting a good temperature getting the heat on. Very thin small towel to dry off after shower.

Location is not bad We paid 180 eur for one night. The room is really tiny. Bathroom really small, shower not closing so you put water everywhere. The handle of the door is broken (staff didn’t care when I told him), there is no bin, the wallpaper is ungluing from the wall.

Location location location ! Small. As a expected.

Location is not bad. Carpet colour was brown it was more black. Dirty and sticky. I paid 1900 Canadian dollars to stay there for 7 nights. The room was the size of a walk in closet. Paid a lot of money for a dumpy closet. Not good value for the amount money spent.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The room was uncomfortably small, and the bathroom was unbelievably tiny—almost impossible to use comfortably. The bed was very narrow, no more than one meter wide, and it was placed right next to a window overlooking the street below, which made the noise constant. The room was also located near the hotel entrance, so there was nonstop disturbance every time someone entered or exited. The sink was extremely small and practically unusable, especially with the mirror shelf positioned directly above it, making it difficult to move or use the sink properly. Overall, the stay did not meet my expectations, and I do not recommend this hotel.

Location was great, very close to the canals and lots of food options, as well as bike rental places. The carpet in the room seemed pretty old/a bit dirty.
