Airco Staff, rude, not trained

I know it's Amsterdam and hotels are expensive but the place needs some serious maintenance. Some defects are unacceptable for 150 euros a night

Great location, easy check in. Little dirty and old but worked just fine.
-
Cute cafes, pubs and restaurants all around

Location is good. I stayed at 101 but the air conditioning isn’t heating the room well. I felt cold. The staff helped but it ı didnt feel comfortable at all.

Nice view Cleaning

The Bed was slightly uncomfortable for me. Some guests were very loud as well as the loud thuds from people walking around in the corridor. Lost a little sleep staying at this hotel. Shower-head was pretty dirty too.

The location was perfect.

Fantastic location with large windows and view of the canals if you get the front facing room. Bathroom was tiny with a strange shower set up.

Location was great, view from room was good. Toilet did not flush, shower stall leaked out water, someone else’s hair stuck to headboard, dirty doors and NO TOP SHEETS OR WASHCLOTHS!

The hotel was located 3 tram stops to Amsterdam Central so it was not a bad location. The staff were friendly. They offer free coffee with powdered cream. They have a vending machine to sell drinks. After walking up steps from the street you enter the lobby that is manned 24 hours a day. I was assigned room 3 in the basement. That room was about 6 feet underground. The window which is normally waist high was about 6 feet from the floor so looking out the window you were seeing "feet" at street level. Considering the flooding that Amsterdam suffers from that room was a death trap in a flood. Second problem was the bathroom was about a half a foot off the bedroom floor. I didn't use a tape measure. You can see the step going into the bathroom but after a shower I stepped out of the bathroom and not seeing the step - I tripped and almost hurt myself. The shower was not enclosed (no curtains or glass door) so water spray got over the narrow bathroom floor. I can't say anything about other rooms. At a $100 euros a night you would expect more. It was Tues/Wednesday rate and Thursdays rate was almost double. And the weekend rate is still higher.
