I got a room at ITC hotel, not Townhouse. Not a nice move but I didn't care. Great location, 10m away from a tram station. Okay bed not fantastic, not terrible. Very thin walls, in the morning you can hear all the neighbors and doors closing and steep stairs.

Good spot quite and out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to everything you would need and want Room wasn’t in fantastic condition. Light fixtures were clearly broken on walls bed bases also weren’t in brilliant shape. Ants appeared on window sills every day during our stay despite being in the top floor of the property and ended up on both beds not impressed. Informed receptionist on check out and she said she would inform her manager didn’t even offer a complimentary coffee for the inconvenience

The room was very small, but I just appreciated that there was no moquette and also that the bathroom was good. The position is super close to the center and there are a lots of cute places and fully connected with transports if you have to move in the city. Nothing, was all fine!

Wasn't told prior to arrival that we were in completely didnt hotel to one that was booked and prepaid for only informed by a letter stuck to front door. Room was drafty due to work being done on the building useless heating facilites and stubborn window scaffolding blocking views. Original booked hotel was fine no work being done, when i asked why the hotel had been changed i wasnt given an answer. Thought the cupboard door led to a cupboard but actually led to quite a dangerous open gap in the building with no window. This was clearly the same for the room next door as the group staying in the room climbed through and onto scaffolding around 0200am drunk etc which woke us up. Bed positioned under slanted roof area which resulted in terrible sleep. Tv and heating both didnt work. Downstairs area was messy and cluttered. Staff not around to speak to. If pre warned about this we would have refunded our stay and found somewhere else for the price if not cheaper with better conditions.

Great location for where I had to travel in Amsterdam. Clean, efficient property with nice neighbourhood shops and cafes nearby. Try the small Italian place with home madepasta. Fantastico! I will be returning to the Townhouse for my next business trip to Amsterdam
