The location was fantastic! The host was absolutely amazing! She made me feel at home right away. First time as a solo traveler abroad and I felt like if I had any issues, she would help me. She is so accommodating and friendly. I will be back! Nothing

Very good

The host was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. It was very hot when we were there (33 degrees) and the airconditioner worked when we first arrived and then stopped working. She did bring in a fan which was a bit of relief but it was still very hot. The room was very comfortable and clean. There was a kitchen downstairs which we were able to make use of to make tea and eat our cereal. The location was fairly close to the centre and the host directed us to a food hall which we went to on the two nights we were there. The trams were close by and it was easy to walk into the centre. We would recommend this accommodation.

The host Istika is nice in person and the location of the apartment is great. Unfortunately she is not nice when problems arise. The property falsely advertises air conditioning which did not have cooling. This was during a well known heatwave in Amsterdam. The lowest temperatures in the room at night were at 24C/76F which opening the window did not fix. Istika refused any partial refund (which Booking said is up to the host). I really hate to leave bad reviews, but I would not trust this host to do the right thing when issues arise. I fully believe that guests who encountered no problems would have enjoyed this space and location, however the amenities listed cannot be trusted, nor can faith be placed in the host to do the right thing. I would look for another listing that you can have more trust in. As an aside, I walked away with numerous bug bites after staying here.

Our wonderful host made great coffee for us each morning and gave us excellent advice about navigating the city. Our host deserves extra points for accomodating my gluten allergy. In addition, the host found an earbud left behind and went to great lengths to return it. Great vibe overall. The stairs are a bit steep. I would have enjoyed more room in the bedroom.

The host was the highlight of our comfortable and delightful stay, though the facilities were also ideal: impeccably clean, an absolutely beautiful space, super comfy beds, and convenient access to a fully-equipped kitchen. But, truly, the conversations with our host is what made the stay extra special! There was nothing about this stay thay we didn't like.

Exceptional

Istika was so welcoming and made us lattes before our morning adventures. Great location. The stairs are steep but to be expected.

Istika was so kind and suggested sites to see and things to do. She answered all our questions. The facility was clean and a good location.
