Location and clean bedding. We also liked that there was a safe in the room. No airconditioner in the room which was too small; no fridge; elevator was uncomfortably small for 2 people without luggage; we had a twin room with supposedly 2 twin beds, however the twin beds were side by side with no space in between - like a king size bed.

Location near metro and tram lines. Quite street. Near nice places to eat, markets and shops. Lobby/ downstairs space was warm and welcoming. Nice coffee water and snacks plus space to relax after a day exploring. Lift is tiny but in okd building hard to fit. Stairs like most in Amsterdam are more like going up and down a ladder.

Staff were very nice and helpful. Room was clean, big and comfortable. There is no air conditioning so it was a bit hot at night.

What a wonderful, small, family run hotel on a quiet street near the major museums! A lovely continental breakfast, large, generous room, even a small garden patio. It was a beautiful oasis in the middle of a busy city.

The location and it's connections to the wider Amsterdam were excellent. Arriving in a heatwave with no air-conditioning.

Great hotel on a quiet street. 25 minute walk to dam square or a quick Hope on the metro. Also well serviced by the cities tram network.
