ClinkNOORD - Hostel

Really good located. The rooms feels like a hospital. No cofrtable at all (we had a "suite") shower is exactly the same as a hospital, no glassdoor no nothing, everything will get wet. The staff is really not interested in you.

We only stayed one night, but we found it very convenient to be so close to the railway station (a short free ferry ride away). Even though checking in is virtual, there was always a friendly staff member at the reception to help us out. This is nitpicking, but even though the buffet breakfast is quite varied, it does not include any hot items.

The staff is very kind and always ready to help. The location is very good, I enjoyed to take a ferry every day to go to the other side of the city. Also, it is good to socialize, there are some open spaces. There were not curtains in the rooms. I think it would be better to have them for the privacy. Generally, I did not like the design of the room either, but it is good that there were bathroom and toilet in the room.

The location, it is very near the Central Train Station and although you have to cross using a ferry to reach the hotel, it was never an issue because the ferry departs every 2-3 minutes. And their is grocery store just around the corner . It is also near Damrak and meeting points for tours. The shower rooms becomes so wet because the partition between the shower area and the sink area is only partial. If they could make the partition full so it will keep the sink area dry.

Very cool, hip space with excellent amenities and super friendly staff. The little bar was great and the beds were really comfortable. There was no separation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, so when you took a shower, the whole bathroom flooded. Also, could have used more shelving in the bathroom for toiletries.

The staff were fabulous! We had some trip struggles (unrelated to the hostel) and the staff were so supportive both at 3am and during the day. Great location, ferry ride quick and frequent runs.

This hostel was lovely, the ferries are free between north amsterdam and the central area and they also run til about midnight.

Loved the location. Well-laid out hostel with good common spaces, luggage storage etc while still managing to keep the bedroom areas quiet. Bed was comfy, room compact, bathroom was decent with good water pressure. Also, I have to mention the ventilation system which worked really well in the bedroom. It was hot when we visited Amsterdam and the room window was designed not to open, however the ventilation system maintained a perfect temperature without blowing or making noise. Good design. Can't think of anything. Was as expected.

The Location is near canal, very nice location, a person can sit there at the benches enjoy cool breeze, lively atmosphere.The behaviour of receptionists Lisa and Latsian( sorry don't remember the exact name) and other staff members were nice, they handle queries nicely. This is Holland is near and a person can book Geithoorn tours from get your guide , free ferry from Amsterdam Centraal to hostel F3, Railway station is near, Dam Square, Markets , route to dilbar restaurant( around 1km ), Madras curries ( might be 1.7 km), Canal tours easily accessible. The bed should have curtains for privacy and kitchen should be there to cook own food. there should be free locker like paris hostels, check-in timings are strict ( hahaha Lol), they can provide free luggage store room like paris for atleast 4-5 hours.

They don't have a kitchen for guests. Locker size was big enough to accommodate valuable things, but not big enough to fit the bag itself in it.

No proper light inside the dormitory. The breakfast is ok. It is not worth the money we paid to stay for one night.

I usually do not leave reviews, but I was genuinely disappointed with this stay. Paying more than €80 for a single night in a female dormitory, I expected at least basic standards of service and organization. No basic toiletries were provided, not even soap, and the room was not cleaned at any point during my stay, we had to ask the staff in person before our trash was finally taken out. The management appeared to have serious issues with reservations. They mishandled multiple guests' bookings during my stay and even asked me to check out despite having a confirmed reservation and a valid booking. Although the issue was eventually resolved, it created unnecessary stress and uncertainty. To make matters worse, my card was charged more than it should have been for one night, and the staff refused to take responsibility or properly address the overcharge. The property also seemed to overbook its already overpriced dorm rooms. As a result, some female guests were reportedly required to sleep in male dormitories because there were not enough available beds. For the price charged, I expected far better service, cleanliness, and professionalism. Unfortunately, the experience was characterized by poor organization, lack of basic amenities, and inadequate customer service. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to others.
