Golden Mansion Aparthotel

Space was well equipped with kitchen basics, nice amount of space. staff available and friendly. Location is great, far enough away from the business of main tourists hubs but close to everything you'd need (parks, cafes, restaurants, grocery) & a short tram ride to the main square and attraction areas. I know it's typical, as Amsterdam does not get too warm and there is no A/C. The bedroom was very warm and hard to cool off as there are no windows in it. Not a complaint so much as information for you to consider

Situated at a convenient location. Easy to commute by public transport I don't understand why most of the apartments do not have a power plug near the bed. It is inconvenient to keep your mobile away for charging.

The location is great. The apartment was clean and the staff is very kind. The apartment has little natural light. On the first day, we requested bedside lamps for the bedroom since there were none. The walls are dark, and with little lighting, the room felt gloomy. The bathroom needs work: a shower screen and shelves for toiletries. Taking a shower makes a mess of the apartment and we ended up putting all the toiletries of four people on the kitchen counter. More and more comfortable pillows. There is only ONE per person!

Steep stairs were not my favorite

Loved the location, so close to transit, a grocery store, laundromat, etc. It was easy to check in and get into the unit. We didn't need air for the first few days, but when the temperatures climbed, we appreciated the fans! Also used the dishes and Nespresso machine and were delighted! Also, the pull out couch was super comfortable, my daughter and I shared it and were both very comfortable! The bathroom could use some more counter space or a shelf in the shower to put personal items on. Also would love a brighter light in the bathroom. That being said, it was very nice and clean and we made it all work!

The steep, narrow stairs were a little difficult.

Excellent location. Very responsive and helpful staff for our few questions. The apartment is large and comfortable. Kitchen facilities were what we needed. Great for a single traveller or couple and older children. Wouks stay here again.

The location is very close to the central station where all the activities are. Housekeeping kept everything clean. The tram station is right at the front. You'll just need to ride tram 4 to go to the central station. It takes less than 10 min with tram. Within walking distance to Rijk museum. The queen bed is very comfy in it's own bedroom. The queen sofabed is in the living room, in a separate room from the other bed. Both rooms have windows overlooking a couple large trees. Window can be open to let in fresh air. It has kitchen complete with utensil and cooking pan and pot. There is fridge, microwave, coffee maker and diswasher in the kitchen. It's nice location with good bed and quite at night. We are very satisfied with our stay. The stairs. It's not bad for us with only small carry-on. If you are bringing large lugages you should know there is only stairs. The bathroom is really nice, but the shower is at the same level with the toilet. So it'll get wet. They provided squigee for the floor. It's easy to push the water back to the shower area, but the rug will be drenched. Housekeeping always provided the new dry one. There is no AC, but the weather is very nice. It's around 16C in early June. We don't need AC. We always open the window. It's very nice looking at the large trees and the air is fresh.

Excellent location The room was on a ground level and dark. It has view of a patio where the hotel has the trash container, so not good. Also, the kitchen is missing some esentials, such as wine glasses, place mats, paper towel or kitchen rag, etc.

Excellent location, nice neighborhood m, not too busy. Close to museums, easy walking to restaurants and metro & surface transportation. Efficiency kitchen with utensils. Room with twin beds is “Amsterdam tight”, storage limited. Room on the first floor, located above the medieval thick heavy main door, large thump as guests repeatedly came and went. Tight steep staircase wrapped around the room, noisy as guests climbed and descended the stairs. Kitchen lights not working, made a dark hole that was difficult to work in. Bathroom mirror light was out or we couldn’t get it to work, for shaving etc. Mentioned lights to the staff their reply “ok”.

The staff was very helpful with a personal problem we had.

The location was extremely convenient. Trams & grocery stores were minutes away. Rijksmuseum was very close too The bedroom was very small & had no window

The apartment was in a great location, and laid out very nicely. No views, but I knew that when I booked the apartment.

Little taste of real Amsterdam rather than being in a big chain hotel. Hope you like stairs, no elevator.

Great staff. Room was perfect

Good location, spacious rooms and they were able to store our bags on the check out day so we could explore the city some more. The staff was attentive and the kitchen had all we needed for our meals. As a larger group was great to have side by side rooms so we could stay close.

The facility was good

well located appartement hotel with very friendly staff the double bed is in fact two singles of only 80 cm each, that move apart during the night. So you find yourself sleeping in an extra small single bed. The apartment could really be cleaned better. It's dusty and dirty in places. As compensation the room is dosed with some sort of chlorine tablets which smell unpleasant

Very central, close to the transport station. The facility is clean and cozy. It’s very handy having a kitchen, which also includes a dishwasher.
