It is only a bit loud during the night because of the crowds of the street. Once you close the window it blocks the sound a lot so there was no issues sleeping

The managers of the hotel were very kind and helpful on all occasions, they made our stay really comfortable. Location is really very good, in the heart of Amsterdam. Our room was on the second floor and the stairs are quite steep, but we did not mind. It can be a problem if you don't like climbing stairs. Also, our room was very quiet because it was on the side opposite the street with the bars, but our friends with the room on the side with bars told us that in the night there was a bit of noise. The hotel did provide earplugs though, but we personally did not need them, as our room was quiet. You can ask for a quiet room when you make the reservation.

The location to other things was good. However, I didn’t know it was a party area and so I got no sleep the entire 3 days due to being directly have street partying until 5 am. It was close to a tram stop, shopping, and cafes. It was clean, and the staff were nice.

Location, staff, comfort bed and room space

Day time location was perfect The cost is absolutely ridiculous. They were doing renovations so my view out the window was blocked off with construction fabric. Should have got a discount(b.s.) All of the loud bars are right outside the door, and not good ones. Streets were filled with 17-24 year olds screaming, puking and peeing until like 4 or 5 am.

The owners running it are very accommodating.

Location is awesome / staff is amazing / rooms very nice - I would definitely stay here again. LOVED they always had free water / free oranges / free apples / thank you James Stairs very steep / however dealt with them and staff always wanted to help with luggage up or down them.

The hosts were so lovely and helpful - they even helped us carry our very heavy cases up the steep stairs! The room was comfortable, clean and cosy, and the other guests were quiet, we never heard any disturbance. The only downside was that there was scaffolding on the front of the building, obscuring the gorgeous view of the canal. However it was still a great stay!

Staff were great and couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. Location is excellent for anyone wanting to see main attractions in central Amsterdam - with dozens of cafes and restaurants within 2 or 3 minutes walk. Room was comfortable but floor was the most uneven floor of any room I've stayed in. It wasn't the hotel's fault but front of building was covered with scaffolding and sack cloth - so no view at all from the window apart from sackcloth. Renovations were going on in the building and the noise was very noticeable - we weren't aware of this before booking. The appearance of the hotel from the street / front door is disappointing - it really doesn't look like a hotel entrance at all. Stairs are challenging unless you are fit (no elevator).

Everything was alright N/A

Good location. Clean and large comfortable rooms. Long narrow road stair pieces to haul luggage up

I had a very pleasant and quiet experience considering the hotel is on the usually crowded Rembrandtplein.

We were very pleasantly surprised by what had to be the roomiest & well-decorated room for three on our current multi-city trip. Tucked just off Rembrandt Square (and the tram stop) - we could not have asked for a better location. Despite this very central location, our room felt like a peaceful oasis as it faced away from the street. The staff were wonderful - so friendly, helpful & very responsive. We will totally stay here again in a heartbeat.

The staff was suuper friendly! And the location was perfect. Very comfortable room :) Lots of stairs without elevator, but this is common is amsterdam!

The location is amazing !

It’s a bit old needs renovation. Stairs are nightmare if you are carrying a big luggage or have knee problems.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Blackout curtains. People were kind and helpful, they arranged for me to check in earlier. Location is great too. The room was smaller than in the photos and the window view was obstructed. Early hours of the night can be a little noisy as the hotel is on a street with bars however the noise stopped later in the night.
