Incredibly hot, way too old of a building. Unfriendly staff. Left after 5 min and went to a different hotel.
-
Under the bed had dirty socks and the shower wasn’t great (roof was too low and wall not sealed and shower head kept falling down)

Nothing. Zero. It's the worst hotel we've ever stayed. So dirty and smells molds. Bathroom is always wet. Tissue holder is rusty. Carpet is so filthy and smells really old. I got itchy skin after sleeping one night. We suppose to stay for 3 nights but we ended up checking out in the morning. We don't like everything. Don't book here. It's so dirty. Nice in the lobby but if you go inside it's ao dirty old and moldy. I asked for refund bec the picture in the post looks so nice but pics are deceiving. If you open the bathroom door smeld moldy all over the room. So disgusting. I messaged booking.com many times about this issue to what ther call 24/7 customer service but it's been 3 days now and no answer. I messaged the WA of the hotel but ignored my message and nobody was in the lobby when we needed to leave. We couldn't wait for 2 hours bec we needed to find another hotel.

Old world charm on the canal. If you like character and don’t care about fancy but comfortable and clean with history you will like this hotel. The rooms are very small but comfortable. The owners and staff are awesome and great hosts!

The attention of the two gentlemen (Mario and another one I never got the name) in the morning. Perhaps I should add the quick solution to the massive problem we had upon arrival - the room assigned to us was not cleaned after the last guests - but the problem was created by the hotel management. The room assigned to us was not cleaned after the last guests. We discovered it after going up narrow stairs with a large suitcase and it took time to get someone to answer the Emergency number. We were already looking for another hotel when the phone was answered in the 3rd or 4th try.

Great location. Staff was so friendly and kind! Toilet and bathroom was tooooo small!! I couldn’t pull my pants without opening the door and getting out. There is no elevator and the stairs are to narrow to carry big luggages. But it is a heritage building it is normal I guess.

Location was good .. and close to the metro Was dated, small, and smelled a little like mildew. Didn’t spend a lot of time in the room tho.

This hotel was incredibly accommodating with all of our requests, and the location couldn’t be better. I love that it’s been preserved in its original, historical style. It truly feels like staying in a living museum. As a UNESCO-listed building, the history and character really shine through, including some natural wear and tear that adds to its charm. One thing to note: there’s no provided shampoo or shower gel, so be sure to bring your own. Overall, it’s a quaint and beautiful historic building with an unbeatable location - perfect for those who appreciate charm and history.
-
Nice hotel, staff was nice but the 4th floor room with 1 window and no fan or AC was not great
-
Cosy interior. Friendly staff. Separate bathroom / toilet. Window onto concrete courtyard.

Good location. Close to Centraal Station. Walkable to many attractions. Beautiful riverside location and river view. No facilities at all. No elevator, have to lift luggage via a very narrow staircase to the third floor. No kettle, no bottled water, no handheld shower, no toiletries. No cups. No refrigerator. Overall it is old. As a hotel with this price, the cleanliness is below my expectation.
-
Very small, shampoo and hand soap not available, No water or any drinking liquids, no refrigerator, no glasses or water heater, No closet, any kind of cups not available. Cleaning is very poor at general
-
Only the location It was dirty, old smell, very tight spaces, mold in the bathroom, no separation for shower - water everywhere
-
Passable
-
Very well located, comfortable room The shower takes a long time to heat, there were no towels to dry the body, just hand towels available
-
Host was very welcoming and friendly. I had to check in a little late and he was there in a minute to help me! My room was clean and inviting, I felt safe and comfortable.
-
Superb location. Helpful staff. Clean facilities. The bathroom needs hooks for towels or clothing and needs shelves for cosmetics and toothbrushes. Drinking glasses needed in the bathroom.
-
