Central location. Comfortable bed. Room was cleaned but smelt of cigarette smoke. Stairs to get to 4 floor extremely narrow and difficult to climb.

We had a wonderful stay at CS Hotel Amsterdam. The location is simply unbeatable – practically in the city center and only a few minutes' walk from Amsterdam Central Station. It was the perfect base for exploring Amsterdam and taking day trips to other cities. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We especially liked having the toilet separated from the shower, which made the room more practical. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated being able to leave our luggage until the evening on our last day. This gave us the chance to enjoy a few more hours in Amsterdam without having to carry our bags around. There is also a very convenient luggage storage facility just across the street. Despite being so close to the center, the hotel was quiet enough for a good night's sleep. Everything we needed was within walking distance – canals, restaurants, shops, and public transport. Great value for money, excellent location, and a hassle-free experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Pleasant

Not a lot, the location was fairly decent close to Amsterdam central and some key locations but that is all it has to offer The shower was broken, there was no soap and no shower gel despite advertising as such. The stairs were steep and dangerous, the front door kept slamming closed on us as we entered and left, the floor was dirty full of bits that cut my fiances foot. The bed was squeaky and also shook a lot, there was no other amenities to speak of and it was shocking.

The location was great, it is very near to the central station. The room itself was average, quite small but perfect if you are thinking on enjoy the city and use it just for sleep. There is no reception and the instructions to access can be a bit confusing. The shower floods the whole bathroom.

Good location and clean rooms - good for a few days only. No elevator, narrow stairs especially with large luggage’s with you. The shower and toilet is combine making the floor all wet.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the euro star. That’s about it. The property have very steep spiral steps with no reception. They have a sister hotel opposite which has a reception. We did a bag drop at the sister hotel and they put they put our bags in a room with other bags next to the desk, we came back an hour later to change shoes and found our bags in the sitting area next to a guest, i was very disappointed and felt unsafe as that guest or anyone could of taken my valuables of medication. I asked reception why this was the case and they said the bag drop was full (not true). We came back when at 3:30 because we wasn’t sent the code for our room. I then asked and they gave me it. I asked for our bags and they said do you want to keep them here because the steps are very steep. I needed my bags just like any other person would and they didn’t have people on the desk 24 hours a day so how would we get our things when needed? We replied no we would like to take them and they said okay we trust you. I do not understand what this hotel thinks luggage is for? If you bring luggage with you, you are going to need whatever is in it. We managed to get our things up and down the stairs but our room did feel very unsafe. We are teenage girls and there were a LOT of activity going on in the hotel and we heard it all.

It’s ok if you need a cheap stay on a budget for an early train Not quite the same as pictures a little run down and the entrance is certainly not like the pics. You also hear everyone especially if they are loud

Clean and tidy room with decent bathrooms. As central as you can get. It is very noisy even on the top floor until 1am from music and people in the various shops and venues. Tram noise is frequent and the bell of the tram is very loud. However, if you use silicon earplugs properly, it is not much of a problem. Could not sleep without them.
