Residence Inn by Marriott at Anaheim Resort/Convention Cntr

The Residence Inn by Marriott Anaheim was a perfect place to stay for our visit to Disneyland this year! It is an easy walk to Disney; not far and a flat straight path - so of you are a walker or use a scooter it was a comfortable path. The hotel was great - rooms are spacious and clean with plenty of elevators to accommodate guests going to and from the property. The area outside the hotel is well maintained and felt very safe - we walked to local restaurants nearby for dinner and enjoyed exploring the area. There is also a CVS and a Walgreens within walking distance as well and that came in handy! You should definitely consider the Residence Inn by Marriott Anaheim for any stay!

Great stay

We had a good stay at Residence Inn by Marriott at Anaheim Resort/Convention Center. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the Anaheim Convention Center, shops, restaurants, and major attractions. The complimentary breakfast made mornings easy, especially with kids, and the spacious suite with a full kitchen, stove, and large refrigerator was perfect for preparing snacks and simple meals. Overall, it’s a comfortable, family-friendly hotel that offers great convenience and value

Have stayed here several times on Disneyland trips and it’s always fantastic. Walking distance to the parks. Parking is pricey but it’s comparable to the other properties in the area and its one of the few properties where the parking isn’t overfilled at night. The free breakfast is great. Rooms are always clean and it’s convenient to the CVS grocery. My only suggestion to the property is this: it’s time to replace the mattresses. They’ve run their course.

The staff was super nice and friendly, and we loved our stay. Thank you for housing Our electric scooter, that was amazingly helpful and resource.

Clean room with good hospitality

We loved the open space in our room for our kids. And having a large fridge, stovetop, & microwave was great. I also found it so useful that they had a laundry room. My son threw up on our way up to LA and I was able to wash the blanket and clothes that he threw up on. & I loved the breakfast that was included in our stay. Made it so convenient that I didn’t have to worry about where to take my family to eat for breakfast before heading out to Disneyland.

This is our go to hotel the rooms are spacious and normally very clean and just comfortable!

This property is overpriced for what is essentially a 3 star hotel experience. Several maintenance and safety issues detracted from our stay. The bathroom door would not fully close or lock, which impacted privacy. The bedroom door is a barn style sliding door that repeatedly got stuck on its rail, it became so difficult to open that it required two adults using significant force. In addition, the bedroom dresser drawers lacked safety stops, allowing them to slide completely out of the unit. For the price charged, I expected a much better maintained and higher quality room.

Convenient breakfast, the one bedroom suite is not as easily accessible though. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable, do not recommend the sofa bed. The pool area is really nice big hot tub, big pool, clean pool, however, the umbrellas need to be better secured, there were two that were faulty, and one almost fell on somebody.

The parking was good ( although expensive!) until it was time for check-out. They have a garage, so there were plenty of parking spaces available, but it is not directly connected to the hotel lobby, so it is not convenient to walk to the car. You could pull directly in front of the hotel to load/ unload your car, but there were not enough luggage carts. We checked out at 11am, but couldn’t get a cart until like 11:30am. We saw families with 2-3 carts coming from their rooms. I would advise the hotel to have guest check out a cart, one per room, for a limited amount of time ( say 15 minutes), to prevent hoarding carts and make check-out more seamless for all guests.

Breakfast is the same every day so it becomes a little boring day after day. Waffles are great, especially for the kids. Rooms are clean and comfortable with wi-fi always operating. Great location - 10 minute walk to Disneyland with kids - ages 10, 8 and 6. The same breakfast every day,
