The room seemed dated/worn but clean. Felt safe/comfortable inside but the area seemed a little questionable. Appreciated how well the staff enforced the rules and quiet hours. We were able to borrow bear spray (and return it) for our adventures which helped save money and a hassle with flying home. Would stay again if needing a place to sleep in transit through Anchorage.

Very clean and staff was great! All great reviews!

The hotel is old ,it looks not so bright on the wall of bathroom The door to the room sometimes not close or locked which feel not so safe we stay in the first room ,and can hear the noise from outside

Unfortunately I don't recall the name, but I did want to shout out the front desk staff member who helped us check in. He literally carried my wife's very heavy luggage and another bag of ours up the stairs without us asking. 10/10 for that individual.

Staff was great and very helpful. Room was clean and neat.

This is not a recommended place to say even for one night.

A good place to crash for the night or several. The room was clean and comfortable. Max made the check in process easy and straightforward. Close to downtown shops and restaurants by car as well!
-
Best place for NOLS and outdoor sports people to stay! Eight to 10 minutes from downtown Anchorage. Super clean rooms and shared bathrooms with a full-size fridge in room plus full community kitchen.

The hotel in on a flight path for light aircraft. If you open the window when it’s hot the noise is louder. Also It sets car alarms off they go over the hotel.

We had a great experience. For a shared community space hotel it was very neat, clean and staffs were great!
-
This hotel was excellent from the cost, cleanliness, staff, and proximity to the airport. My only complaint is that we had a room on the road side and it was EXTREMELY loud all night. I would give this hotel 5 stars if it wasnt for that!

The location is great with the proximity to downtown and the staff are flexible with stuff. Overall great place if you need to crash in anchorage.

The bathrooms are shared, and the one we used had tape all over the floor and water pooling. We found the beds really uncomfortable. Half an hour before check‑out, they were already knocking on our door, which I found unnecessary.

Despite the name, Ingra is a hostel or motel, not a hotel! First, this is Not the right place for those w/mobility issues. There are many steps and no elevator. If to that you add suitcases, well good luck getting to the 2nd or whatever floor you’re on. Second, they say they clean the bathrooms frequently. Maybe so, but there are many people who use them and plenty time to get them nasty. Then it’s the issue of timing. When you got to go, you got to go, but in the morning when the bathrooms get busy you may need to wait for a while. Third, the rooms are smugly (small+ugly), not so clean, and the beds/mattresses are bad. The staff are mildly nice, but it’s obvious they are doing a job they find menial and with which they are not happy at all. Last, the area north of the place isn’t so safe. Oh, did l mention is next door to a busy airport? I guess Ingra offers a bargain in the very expensive Alaska market but as in all cases, you get what you paid for. I’d say skip Ingra for a nicer place, or skip Alaska altogether. Your buck will go far-far farther in pretty much anywhere else and you get to have a good night’s sleep, do your business in your own bathroom on your own time, and (oh my) actually enjoy your stay…

One decent bathroom on the floor and one nasty one. Rooms are super small, carpet is rough on the second floor.
