Person at main desk checking us in was very professional and polite. Disappointed no scrambled eggs for bread.

The breakfast was good The staff tried to charge me twice the amount and WiFi was terrible and beds where very uncomfortable

Good breakfast selection, beds had a metal frame or something that sounded like thunder when you moved but beds were comfy. Good value overall!

Friendliness It was great

The refrigerator didn't work! I didn't get a clear response when I complained. I also didn't like having to go out to the main road to get there from the restaurant next door. I wish the parking lot went through.

Disappointing

It was close to restaurants in walking distance. The hotel in good location and was clean but did not like the bed uncomfortable and work up with back ache. The front desk gentleman was not friendly but the lady was very friendly with a smile.

Ceiling above the shower was badly damaged Water didn’t transfer from faucet to shower head properly

Need a handicap button for the front door

We travel to Des Moines from Ohio several times a month for work, and this is by far the best hotel we have stayed at. We will definitely stay here again. The hotel was very clean, the room and bed were very comfortable.

In our room, one bed base was NOT properly built. We didn't know this until my husband tried to go to bed at 11 pm. I called the front desk. Because the hotel was full, he had to sleep with me. This is NOT what we paid for. We got another room the next morning. All over were signs this was a no smoking property. When we got back to this room in the afternoon, it smelled of cigarette smoke. Then much later that night when we came back to the hotel, the second floor hallway --- our room was on the second floor --- smelled like 3 SKUNKS had walked up and down the hallway spraying walls. Some of that smell had seeped into our room. I call the front desk who said he would take care of it. As you can imagine, we were not happy about our stay
