Motel 6 Arlington Heights, IL - Chicago North Central

I was not charge for early check-in. Clean and comfortable hotel.

Basic amenities and older looking hallways and building but friendly staff, very clean room and affordable price.

Nice but they need to change the beds.

The WIFI is slow and you need to ask for iron and board.

Awesome stay

The room was always super clean and it was very quiet at night. Hallways are a bit dark and color pallet is dull and uninviting. Didn't need laundry room but it looked well maintained. Staff in the office were friendly and professional.

Over all excellence

The bed is a step down from a futon mattress on a steel bed frame. Hard and uncomfortable. The TV had blue hue to it. It was watchable but I hope you like "The Smurfs" cause everything and everyone looks blue. The room itself was very clean and smelled great. The AC worked well and kept the room comfortable. The shower pressure wasnt good but the water was hot.

Refund

Cons: although the building looked clean, there was a smell throughout the whole thing. The smell was also in the room. We knew the towels were clean because they smelled like bleach but they also had the same smell the building had. When we dried our bodies and faces, the towels shed on us. The shower curtain definitely needs to be changed to a new one. The sheets also had the smell. Our stay wasnt horrible, it’s what we needed that night to lay our heads down and wash up. We weren’t expecting our flight to be cancelled or to have to have to spend anymore money. It wasn’t a lot. You get what you pay for. Again, I appreciate the staff very much for being sweet and helpful.

Not at all customer friendly

Needed a place to sleep for just a few hours due to flight cancellation. Booked based on a 8.0 review score. This was a not what I got. Would NOT recommend.

I found it interesting that we had to request a blow dryer. There was not one in the room. We were there only one night because we had an early morning flight. For that purpose, it was ok.

I got no reply from the property

Probably the nicest Motel 6 I've ever stayed at. I mean, it's still a Motel 6 so you can't expect a ton of amenities or anything, but the room was clean and comfortable just like the ads used to say. Only complaint is that the bathroom door stuck a bit, and when running hot water in the sink it took a long time to heat up. Still, very satisfied considering the price and would stay there again.

The room was cleaned every day for the whole week staying compared to other hotel this is a plus the staff was very friendly and the price was reasonable I would recommend this particular motel 6 to anyone

My only complaint is no elevator. I was on the 2nd floor and had several trips to get my boxes for work up to the room.
