Hotel Solomou Athens

Location was excellent and close to metro and downtown. Dodgy area but I felt safe and wasn’t a problem.

Friendly staff Location is something between disgusting and dangerous. A LOT of junkies and syringes around this hotel.

Good location, clean room, good air conditioning, and respectful staff.and safe Outside the hotel, it's frightening because of the large number of homeless people and drug addicts.

Wi-Fi and air conditioning are very good. The staff is hardworking, very helpful, and friendly. The breakfast buffet was varied with cold and hot items and, of course, sweets. One personal remark is that there was no brown bread available, but I solved that by buying bread myself. A recurring comment is that many hotel guests do not take into account their neighbors who want to sleep. No natural light coming into this room.

Good place, comfortable

I stay in Athens all the time, and I tend to stay on the lower end of hotels, as I am often in the city for weeks at a time. I decided to try some new hotels this time and found this one great. Solomou, the street that it is on will be difficult for people who do not know Athens, but do not let that stop you. The people were nice and the room stayed clean daily. The place was fine. The street that it is on is a rough street, but that does not bother me as I am very used to Athens and I think given the area, the hotel is actually really decent.

Hotel itself is located in little bit shady alley. I wasn't aware of that when booking. So almost all the places around hotel are abandoned or under construction. And there are suspicios looking people always hanging around. So this kind of kills overall mood of stay and makes you be on alert if you are returning back to hotel late at night. And for some reason during our first days of stay at night there were drilling and construction noises like at 3 am.

Nice size room. Very clean!! Close to metro. Good AC. Wifi didn't work in the room. The shower itself is a bit small and not well lit. Sound isolation from other rooms is not not great (when flushing the toilet or opening doors).

Everything is good, night and day shift employees were smile and collaborativ ... I will come back with God willing. Nothing
