Urban Core Residence

Breakfast was your basic continental. I did like that there was a coffee place at the corner which was very convenient. I also liked that the windows were sound proof and the a/c worked. My tour company selected this hotel, so I stayed here the night before my tour started. The first 2 nights the (2nd floor) hotel bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. I could feel the box springs and the next day my back was hurting from sleeping in an uncomfortable bed. The second day when I went down for breakfast, there were no tea bags or no bread and very little food, and this was at 8am. The shower wall wasn't long enough so water went everywhere and the fan never turned off. I had to keep the bathroom door shut because otherwise I could hear the fan. I also didn't like that I couldn't lock the door from inside. On the last 3 night (3rd floor) when I arrived to my room (22:38) the door was open and someone had used the toilet and hadn't flushed it. I inspected the room to make sure no one was there, and cleaned the toilet myself since I had disinfected wipes with me. The bed was comfortable but I felt very uncomfortable knowing that someone had been in my room, so I put a chair and my suite case up against the door. As for the location, I was very uncomfortable being a solo traveler. The only reason I stayed at this hotel is because this is where my tour started, and didn't want to have to move my belongings. I did make the front desk aware of the open door and dirty toilet.

I like the location. It’s near bus stop, although we were not able to try it. It’s near a good restaurant and a couple of coffee shops Breakfast was just ok. Could be better with more variety Being a hotel, I don’t think it’s good to have a reception that’s only open from 11 noon to 5 pm! And the reception people were not alert. They can see the two rooms I booked will get rebooked the next day, and they didn’t inform me I should check out by 11 then have ourselves checked in again! I even got to talk them before I left for our tour! So in the middle of our tour, we had to go back . By then, housekeeping already transferred our luggage to another room without our presence. I lost a cable charger in the process! Nobody wanted to take responsibility ! They told me it’s Booking.com at fault Haissssst So people beware!

As I said, supposed to be, location was a factor And going to rooms using passcode is cool, as long as you have your phone ready They provide storage but as I’ve mentioned, it’s a hassle because there’s nobody after 6 by the time we get back from our tour The reception staff I think was new to the job. Besides the need to check in and check out, which proved to be a hassle for tourists, is a big minus There’s no one to complain or make request to once we get back to hotel. Like, one room does not have enough toilet paper and bath gel was not refilled . The bathroom does not have a good cover, making water splashed everywhere. Towels provided are just two. The one for the floor was not enough No reception, no housekeeping ! Internet was intermittent

Location and it provided us storage. You just need to meet their time , before 5:30 which proved to be a big hassle. As I’ve said, some rooms were too small for 2 pax with 2 pieces of luggage ( international flight) No room left to walk to water closet I only like the room we tried for a night at 4th floor

Location was convenient as it was near to Omonia station which is located 7 minutes away by walk Restaurants , coffee shops and bakeries all around the hotel easy to grab anything at anytime of the day Acropolis & Plaka district is just 25 minutes away only Getting from the airport to Hotel is Hazzle free , staff provided all directions in advance before we arrived to Athens Check - in / out by yourself highly recommended to do online check-in Breakfast was fairly good I suggest to put more attention into room cleaning

The receptionist and cleaning lady! Worse experience ever. You have entry codes for the main access to the property and rooms. During the last day of our stay, the codes were not working for the rooms and we were locked out for 3hrs and no one was reachable. Eventually we got a number which was the cleaning lady and she called the “boss” for us. The latter lied saying that there was an issue with the internet of Athens and she had no access to camera and blabla which is a complete lie since we had no issues with internet and the WhatsApp number they shared was ringing but they left the mobile at the reception itself, we could hear it ringing!! They did not even have the decency to apologize. Instead the nice cleaning lady was apologizing to us. I sent so many messages through booking.com and even now after we have checked out, no one came to us or even acknowledged these messages!! This experience ruined everything and it was so stressful since we had an early train tomorrow catch up. Breakfast is the worse, location wise you have far better options in Athens. Don’t even bother coming here if you want to have a nice stay!!

Clean, good location, friendly and helpful staff, good coffee and the wrap around balcony was cool to chill and take in the city Bed is very uncomfortable. I hardly slept at all

The location is good, cleaned room,nice staff, the receptionist was really kind and friendly I forgot to ask her name but she is really nice.

I really appreciated the service provided by the hotel; room cleaning on time, excellent breakfast and smiling faces from all people working there.

Check-in is flexible, but the dirty room and poor service, combined with the sketchy area, were disappointing. We had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, our room was dirty, with popcorn and chocolate left inside. While the staff initially offered a solution, the replacement room was too small for our needs. Although they promised a compensation instead, the next day, the same receptionist denied the refund and treated us poorly, even raising her voice when we tried to express our concerns. The lack of cleanliness and unprofessional behavior made our stay very uncomfortable. We don’t recommend this hotel to others.

Nothing other than the location. The bed was absolutely terrible and the service was passive.

I appreciated the hotel’s new, modern, and youthful vibe. The location is relatively close to the city, making it convenient, and overall, it’s good value for the price. However, the room felt a bit small for two adults, which was a minor drawback. Additionally, it would be helpful if they provided extra blankets for guests who might prefer not to use the air conditioning due to the room’s size.
