Location, staff

The hotel is close to the city centre, facilities are clean and staff is kind and welcoming. The hotel is located in the Omonia area, which unfortunately has a significant issue with homelessness and drug use. The surrounding streets are dirty and feel unsafe, particularly at night. The yard behind the hotel appears to be frequented by homeless individuals and drug users. Throughout the night, there was shouting and arguing, and people could be seen using drugs. Combined with very poor sound insulation, this made it extremely difficult to get any proper rest and created a constant sense of discomfort, despite the hotel being separated by a high wall and a fenced barrier. The street behind the hotel is reportedly one of the most affected by drug-related activity in the city. In fact, one of the first pieces of advice we received from the staff was to avoid going left when leaving the hotel, which speaks for itself. Guests are also asked to leave their room keys at reception, which further reflects the security concerns in the area. As for the rooms, they are acceptable for the price, but quite basic. The bathroom lacks a shower curtain, which results in water spreading across the entire floor. Additionally, soundproofing is poor, so noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms — including cleaning staff in the morning — makes it difficult to rest. Overall, while the hotel itself may be adequate in terms of price and basic facilities, the location and noise levels significantly impact the overall experience.

The hotel was clean and safe Did not represent the area around but was only 6 mins to my next destination

Room was clean and tidy but didn't have a whole lot of room. It did come with a balcony, as well as a TV and refrigerator. Beds were comfy and the staff were friendly. Good spot for the money spent. The immediate surrounding area is a kind of sketchy, especially at night. Our air conditioning unit was also broken.
-
Proximity to Acropolis The neighborhood is terrible. Homeless and drug use openly in the streets.
-
However, as the hotel is situated on a roadside and close to bar areas, there was some noise during the night. This may be a consideration for guests who are sensitive to sound.

The bathroom to small but always clean. The location is convenient but too many abandoned buildings around. Homeless people. But I think it was safe. Good breakfast. The location of the hotel. Homeless people around.

Staff was friendly and very helpful.

“The hotel is centrally located, but the neighborhood is not very pleasant. The staff is good, breakfast is average, and the room is relatively uncomfortable.”
-
It was dirty and old. Not clean. Rooms very small did not look like website pictures
-
Room and the location
-
The room was small. There was no wardrobe, and that made the room really small with luggages all around. There was noise on our floor during all night for all three nights we stayed there. Neighborhood does not feel safe with people using alcohol and possibly drugs on the streets.
