Small centrally located B&B in the heart of Avignon with helpful host. Nothing

It is a beautiful old house, and we love old houses! The host gave us good direction of how to walk to the house. Their restaurant recommendations were excellent. We had our most memorable meal in Avignon. If you like old houses, this could be a great place for you. We stayed two nights, and went to another town in between. The host kindly kept our carry-on for us, so that we could take our backpacks only. The first night was in the bourgeoisie room, and the second night in the romantic room. The bourgeoisie room was big with high ceilings and old fashioned window and shutters, but the bathroom could have been made better with shower soup and shampoo in their places, for instance. During our stay, it was just two bottles on the shower floor. The sink didn't have soup. The romantic room had the bathroom outside the room, next to the breakfast area. It was for our use only, but it still felt awkward. The host made many breakfast items herself, but no eggs, cheese, nor ham.

We really enjoyed the breakfast time with the other guests and our hosts. The beds were a little hard

Fantastic location in the heart of Avignon walking distance to so many sites. Host was so friendly and a fantastic baker, breakfast was off the charts good. Very old building with high ceilings, very nicely decorated and highly functional. Nothing

The location is not good for the traveller either car. We spent a hour to find the hotel and parked the car. The bed is too soft.

Location was great and accessible to the main parts of Avignon. A little tricky to find, but the hosts were very patient and very accommodating and were kind and able to help us. Room was spacious with plenty of space for our belongings. Anne Lis was very helpful and a great baker!! A little tricky to find when getting there later in the evening, but the hosts are very helpful.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. The house is at least from the 17th century, in the middle of the historic district of Avignon. The atmosphere is intimate, as the house is also the owner's personal home. A huge bonus is that taxis are allowed to drive directly to the location and considering that the old streets are very narrow and curvy that is saying a lot. One of the rooms we rented was directly next to the breakfast room. The bathroom door was also the exit door, so any sounds coming from the bathroom/kitchen would be quite audible. That being said, it was absolutely quiet at night as well as in the morning. The way the room is set up is an issue due to the age and structure of the house, otherwise the rooms were very roomy and decorated largely to suit the era of the house.

Anne-Lise has a wonderful place in the heart of Avignon. She greeted us warmly and provided an excellent recommendation for dinner that was close by. In the morning, we had a superb and delicious breakfast of homemade bread, cakes, fruit and coffee. There was also homemade yogurt and jams. We enjoyed our brief stay!

Super close to all the major sites. It made walking to sites really doable. Anne-Lisa made a delicious breakfast for us in the morning and was super welcoming. Nothing to note.

This is a lovely old home with a gracious and helpful hostess. The bathrooms are spacious and modern. No complaints!

Breakfast was great! Homemade brioche, sweetbreads, jams, fruit, coffee AC worked but the place in general felt warm... typical though in France that doesnt usually even have AC. Our rooms decor was kind of blah... bot like the nice photos on website. Also, we had requested a first floor and told in messages that we would, but when we arrived, host had already given it to someone else. Excellent location near palais de popes

Location situated in the middle in the pedestrian district, but extremely difficult to access by car. The owner was understanding when we decided to cancel due to a cat being present at the location (wife allergic to cats). - The owner's cat was sleeping on our bed when we arrived. My wife is allergic to cats. - The bathroom is not private, there was only a bathtub directly in the bedroom. - The alternate room offered to us was directly on the street level with bars on the window. - Privacy was minimal. - No parking space nearby. If you have luggage, anticipate walking at least 10 minutes from the nearest parking spot ($17.00/day) on cobblestones and streets to access the location. - no air conditioning - I am waiting for communication on the settlement after 5 days.

This was a wonderful experience. The home is centuries old but the bathrooms, electrical and kitchen have all been updated. The bedrooms have high ceilings and are decorated uniquely with antique touches. The owner greeted us each morning with a cold breakfast of cereals, fresh fruit and breads, homemade yogurt, juices, coffee and tea. She made restaurant reservations for us at a Michelin 1-star just 100 feet from her front door and advised about taxis, trains, etc. This B&B is right in the center of the historic places you want to visit. This is a caution, not a dislike. There are two guest suites on the ground floor and three on the next floor up. The breakfast room is also on that next floor up. The family lives on the top floor and we could hardly hear them.
