The room was a good size with a comfortable bed, and the concierge were friendly throughout our stay. The location was excellent, right next to the train station and close to the heart of Avignon. The only downside was an unpleasant smell from the drains in the room when we arrived. Running the taps and shower and keeping the window open helped resolve the issue, so we didn’t need to raise it with the staff, but it wasn’t the best first impression.

The hotel is in a very central location, with the main sights of Avignon all within walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful, including helping carry and store luggage, providing extra water free of charge, etc. The room was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning (much needed during the recent heatwave). We were given a wheelchair accessible room on the ground floor, with a shower where water leaked out across the bathroom making it rather impractical to use the wet bathroom after showering. We also only received one set of towels (for one person) on arrival, although the hotel staff quickly provided us with a second set. The breakfast is good overall, but the hotel could make sure there is enough crockery/ cutlery available, and there were very few lactose-free options.

Excellent location. Near to meeting point for day trip. Near to restaurants & supermarket Housekeeping did not put extra toilet roll in the toilet.

Great location. Extremely convenient. 1 block away from the train. A 10min walk from the main plaza. Great and convenient breakfast offered. The reception staff were neither friendly nor helpful. The customer service needs significant improvement.

Excellent location, spacious quiet bedroom, clean bathroom with good shower, generous breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Better lighting (a problem in many hotels), better quality breakfast (although generous quantities), very bury at breakfast (problem in a large hotel), improved breakfast room cleanliness (plates chipped, tables)

Hotel location was the BEST feature. Just a few blocks to the main arch to the old city in Avignon. Walking distance to all shops and restaurants. The rooms were not 100% clean - found some fuzz/debris on the floors. More separation between twin beds would be good.

Very spacious room compared to those in Paris. Extremely convenient location - 3min from the train station. The hotel also offers afternoon snacks every day. Staff is friendly and helpful! The facilities look a bit dated but function-wise OK. Sockets quite limited in the room, but there is a USB charger by the bedside.

It was a lovely hotel in an excellent location.

What a relief. Our original accommodation plans changed unexpectedly, and after a long day of travel it was wonderful to be looked after. The staff were genuinely kind, helped with our luggage, arranged a taxi, and made everything easy. Excellent location, spotless room, and the sort of attentive service that makes you appreciate a good hotel. Beds were a little hard.

Nothing Nothing

Charming room with comfortable decorations. The breakfast was delicious and we loved the homemade yogurt and the gluten free options. The location was amazing and we were able to walk all over the city as well as access public transportation.

Electric outlet is only one location in the room.

Breakfast needs more variety and to be better organized

The location was fantastic, the beds were incredibly comfortable, we were able to get twin beds, and the staff were lovely and very helpful. We are coming back!
