Zensus Eco Boutique Hotel

The owner Jose was amazing. So friendly & helpful with any questions we had. Served us a good breakfast every morning and he booked our tour for us too. Also loaned us a cooler. The grounds are beautiful. Cabins nice & clean. Quiet and a nice area not far from town. We had a rental car so it was easy for us to get around. The cabins are a bit small for a week stay & close together. Chairs on patio could be more comfortable. Jose mentioned some renovations starting so just some privacy screens or more plants between the cabin patios I’m sure would help.

Beautiful kept ground and wonderful location. Very charming bungalows and a delicious breakfast to start your day. I hope to be back!!

The breakfast was good and abundant, the owner is super-nice and available to provide informations about Bacalar and sorroundings. The place is nice and tranquil. there is a private parking. The place is in a good position to reach Bacalar town centre and a couple of good spots like Los Rapidos or Cenote Cocalito, both good places to see the stromatolites. can't really find something that I did not like.

Great cabins, with large beds a comfortably sized bathroom and shower. There was an A/C and no issues with insects in the room. Everything you need for a relaxing stay. Staff were super friendly and helpful (especially Laura and Ines!) and the included breakfast had several great options, also vegetarian that were not too heavy. No lagoon access, but we knew this already, and used a couple of day passes to other places during our 4 night stay, plus had a small pool to enjoy onsite when we were feeling lazy. Located lightly south of the main town area (30 minute walk, 5 minute taxi)

Very nice place with lovely people. We really liked to private little houses next to the swimming pool. Great location if you have a car. Would recommend to do a boat trip on the lake, eat at La Playita en visit Los Rapidos. Nothing

Cute room with very large comfortable bed. AC was very efficient & bathroom with great shower. Very well positioned to everything in Bacalar. Breakfast was delicious too. Can’t really think of anything negative

The room was exactly as in the pictures and it was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The location is excellent as it is right across the street from the water. The service from all staff was excellent but Inez was incredible. She was non-stop making the stay more comfortable

Very nice breakfast, and adorable crew! I would just revise the sliding door at the entrance, as it's a bit funky. But the place and stuff is great!

Location is perfect to explore Bacalar! There was a sewer smell coming from the shower.

If paradise exists, this place is definitely part of it! After a long day walking around Calakmul and then a long drive getting to Bacalar, we arrived at Zensus. Both exhausted we had the privilage to be welcomed by Ines. She gave us the warmest and sincerest welcome, explained us all about the town and gave the best recommendations. During our stay her and her staff were always there do give you the best holiday experience you ever had. Definitely recommend! It doesn't get better then this... That we can not give more stars
